Aria's POV
I pulled up in Hanna's driveway and saw that all the lights were off except the one in her room. Mrs Marin's car was gone, but Hanna's was here.

I ran up to the front door and rang the bell. No one answered. I rang it again. Still nothing. I lifted the potted plant by the front door and grabbed the spare key. I unlocked the door and ran inside, slamming it behind me.

"Hanna?" I called out to her. No answer. I went up the stairs and ran into her room. I found Hanna.

"Hanna!" I exclaimed as I see her barely breathing on the floor. She was grabbing her neck and it look like she had been choked or something. Her whole neck was bright red. I pulled out my phone and dialed 911.

"911, what is your emergency?" Te lady on the other end says.

"Hi I just came home and found my friend on the ground and it looks like she has been choked and she's hardly breathing." I gave the lady the address and she said help is on the way.

I ran down stairs and grabbed an ice pack and brought it up to Hanna who I had moved on to the bed.

"Hanna, Hanna I'm sorry. I love you like a sister and I can't imagine life without you. Please don't die on me."
I beg.

"I forgive you. I don't care that you kissed Ezra. Please Han, stay with me." She nods and tries to breathe.

"Who did this to you Han?" I say trying to figure out who it is.

All she can manage to say is one word, one letter, "A."
