Dear Reader,

A warning.

If you are looking for a classic tale of coming of age, please read only the even chapters. If you stick to the even-numbered chapters, you can enjoy a story that explores the sweet, heady fall of first love followed by gut-wrenching despair when it doesn't work out. You may even find a spark of hope at the end.

If, however, you are here for this piece's thriller aspect, the odd chapters are for you.

If you are a brave soul who is interested in the interplay between the two and, importantly, are not squeamish in indulging in a revenge fantasy - while simultaneously mature enough to know that there is a world of difference between indulging in a revenge fantasy as a means to feel one's feelings on the one hand and planning to commit violence on the other then, please - read them all.

I want to be clear that I do not condone violence, abduction, or psychological torture of any kind.

With that said, enjoy!

Bonus points if you catch all the #swiftie references. At the end of the story, I will post a chapter outlining every reference. Best of luck!

Yours in Silliness and fun,

Eva B.
