You woke up in a hospital bed, your body soaked in pain. You could barely lift your head to see the damage but you remember everything. You slightly turn your head to see a firmilliar ginger haired boy. You can barely open your dry mouth to speak before he looks up, realizing you are awake.
"Shh!" He says gently, coming closer. "You were in a terrible accident and have lung damage, you'll be better soon! Don't worry!" He continued as you closed your mouth and forced a smile.
He smiled as you did and left the room. Ed was soon back with a nurse that was carrying a whiteboard. She placed it in your hands and spoke. "Can you please write your name?" She said kindly.
You opened the marker cap and wrote your name, "(y/n) (y/l/n)". Ed took the board and whispered in your ear, "you have a beautiful name (y/n)". This comment sent shivers throughout your body. Ed Sheeran was your idol, you knew all his songs and loved him so much.
The nurse kindly handed the board back to you and you wrote, "what happened!?". Ed spoke clearly with a sad tone, "I was walking to the stage entrance and heard a guy telling his friends that he threw his girlfriend in a burning dumpster. I ran to help and saw you were unconscious, I called an ambulance and tried to pull you out but you were buried to deep. The plastic was starting to melt on your legs and something on your arm was burning. The ambulance arrived and I rode with you here to make sure you were alright. " he smiled and pushed your hair behind your ear.
The nurse walked in with a cup of water for you. "Drink that up and you should be able to talk again!" She smiled. You drank it, cleared your throat, looked at Ed and whispered, "thank you."
This made Ed smile. A small tear appeared in the corner of his eye and he wiped it away. "Anytime beautiful:)" he kissed you and left the room. You closed your eyes and started to dream...
--------2 HOURS LATER----------
"Wake up gorgeous.." You heard a sweet British voice say above you. You opened your eyes and saw Ed sitting on the edge of your bed. "You can walk around ya know.." He laughed and reached for your hand.
You took his offer and walked out of the room with him, your legs felt so sore. "Where are we going?" You asked him.
"We'll I thought you would probably want to use the bathroom..." He laughed. That made you blush, you couldn't resist his sweet laugh!
You now only realized how long you ha been laying down and headed for the bathroom.
When you stepped out, Ed reached for your hand and you held hands with him all the way down the hall.
"So... (Y/n)... You come here often?" He joked sarcastically.
"Haha, if you mean the hospital, no." You laughed.
He stopped in the middle of the hallway and turned to face you. "I hate to see a beautiful girl like you get hurt like this."
"It's fine!" You laughed, "I'm almost fully healed! Trust m-"
"IT'S NOT FINE!" Ed broke down, fully crying now. You pulled him over to a bench and sat next to him. "You didn't deserve this! It's all my fault, if I would've decide not to perform last night this would have nev-" he got cut off.
"It was my dream to meet you! And now I have! If it would have never happened, I would probably be sitting in front of my tv hating my life! It was worth it!" You spoke.
"Y-your d-dream?" He stuttered, wiping his tears.
"Yes." You smiled.
He put his arm around you, kissed you on the cheek and whispered in your ear, "well it was always my dream to meet you..."
You leaned your head on his shoulder until you were interrupted by the nurse. "Here are your clothes, you are free to leave!" She smiled and walked away.
"Hey, can I ask you something?" Ed questioned.
"Yeah?"
"Once you're dressed, can I show you something?"
You nodded and headed to the nearest room to change.
