Stinger stands in front of the omen thinking of what to say, what to do. She takes a deep intake and puts on a stern look. She notices that the security camera has turned on and is staring right at her. She can hear that one of the vents had begun to rattle telling her that Outlet was making his way to her as fast as he could. Stinger chuckled to herself just trying to think of how fast he could scramble his way to her. Then she remembered that he was simply a hive of scraplets which made her chuckle a bit more. Outlet breaks the vent getting out and runs over to Stinger.
"Stinger i was so worried are you okay!" Outlet says standing in front of her.
"I am fine Outlet but I have some news," Stinger says taking a deep intake ", I am leaving for a while.. I just need some time away from everyone and everything, I promise to return." Outlet's look of happy changes to that of worry.
"You're leaving? Are you sure this is the best idea?" Stinger looks away from Outlet almost as if someone was standing to where she is looking. A small sparkle appeared in her optic for a split second.
"Yeah I am sure plus i think everyone else could use the break from me too."
"I understand Stinger but I promise to you that we won't take off without you after all you're the one who promised a safe haven for all of us so we promise to help you with yours even if it means alone time."
The door to the omen opens to reveal the rest of the crew who by the looks of their faceplates had been eavesdropping. "Stinger, please don't leave us!" Deli says as she runs to Stinger with open arms.
"Stinger we can talk this out and we promise not to let anyone interrupt!" Goldspark says crying running after Deli. Honeycomb, who didn't say anything, had guilt written over her face as she walked behind the two.
"I am sorry but this is my choice and I promise to return when I feel better."
"If this is what you truly want, we will be here for you and won't leave until you return." they all give Stinger a big hug to which she hugs them all back. Each gave their goodbyes to her, as the rest were giving their own goodbyes Goldspark ran off to grab a few things. Goldspark comes back with a bag in hand.
"Here you are gonna need this," he says as he hands over the bag of supplies.
"Thank you, all of you, But i must not stay long for my journey needs to start now," And with that Stinger begins to walk away from the crew as they all begin to wave goodbyes.
"Now I just need to find what is missing... and maybe I can be happy again."
