I forgive you..

Not because I want to..

Not because I still think of you as someone dear to my heart..

Not because you are still part of my prayers..

Not because you still hold a place no one can ever..

Not because you still make me cry..

Not because I still love you..

But

because I'm tired..

I'm scared..

I'm scared to again fall for you..

I'm scared you'd rip my heart apart again..

Cause this time I wouldn't be able to heal it..

So I forgive you..

Forgive you for
every tear that left my eyes..

For all the smiles I lost at a glimpse of you..

For all the memories that still haunt me..

And for everything that happened to me because of you..

Cause my love for you is endless..

If I ever found myself in the position to hate you..

You'll be the person I hate most in this world..

My love is endless and so my hate would be..

So today,

I forgive you..
Forgive you for everything...

Because that's the only way I can forgive myself..
