Y/N POV
"Lex I know, I think I can get it to work." My excitement was high right now. I took Mr. Danny's advice and I'm in the works at making the music store a little performance spot for some artist."On some real shit you can make it open to any performances. Have like a open mic for singing, poetry, comedy." I love Alexis so much. When me and her brainstorm, good things happen.
"Alexis you're so smart. Ima tell dad about this and see what he thinks." Alexis gave me a thumbs up and hung up. Like always I was in the store hoping that 100 customers decided to come in.
I went on my phone and called my dad. The phone rang for a little bit before his face filled the screen.
"Hey Y/nn, what's up." I smiled at the old man and propped my phone up. "Hey pops Alexis and I were just talking about a way to bring money into the store."
I watched his eyebrows shoot up. He leaned back into his seat and listened.
"So we were thinking convert half of the store into a performance area. We can have days for comedy, poetry and singing. Charge people to get in and also have some snacks and drinks."
My dad stayed silent for a while I watched his face turn into a smile. "My babies are so smart. Start drawing up some layout ideas and I can help pay for the equipment."
Pops for the win like always. Definitely the rock to our small three person family. "Thank you so much, I'll send you pictures once I got it down."
"Alright Y/nn, I'm proud of you and I love you. Talk to you soon." I said my goodbyes to my father and got working on my plans.
While mapping out the design, I heard the bells ring, signaling someone entered. Without looking up I said the store slogan. "Hi welcome to Soul Sound where we have the musical healing you need." A tiny aww was heard and I looked up.
My eyes instantly were met by those that belong to a tatted singer. "Um Hey K-Kehlani. Didn't expect to see you." The girl smiled at me and I almost lost all functions. My palms started sweating and I forgot what I was just doing.
"Hey magic maker, I was just stopping by see if I can set up a payment plan to get that equipment we talked about." I nodded my head and turned my attention to my opened computer.
I honestly forgot about that whole conversation. I opened up the spreadsheet I made for Kehlani and the stuff she wanted. "You're total is $1,850. I would be open to the payment plan but I won't be able to purchase all of it myself." The girl nodded.
"The headphones you want are $275 and I have a couple of those in stock. I also got some that a lower in quality but $125 cheaper so $150." I took a slightly deep breath. This was one of the only times I've been able to talk to her without fucking up.
"Thank you so much Y/n. I'm going to save up for the $275 ones. Can I place it on layaway or something?" This girl just comes up with shit no one has ever asked.
"Yeah I'll make that happen just for you." I gave her a small smile and stood up to grab the headphones. Honestly nobody even tries to buy the headphones she wants. They just sit back collecting dust.
"Thank you so much Y/n." The girl just walked behind me while I went to the small section. "Which color. Grey, black or white." Rather than speaking the girl pointed to the black.
While picking them out another pair caught my eye. "Damn I forgot about these. Honestly you should go with these." I handed the girl the package and her hand slightly touched mine.
I bit my lip and watched her face as she looked at the box and read everything in it. "Sennheiser HD 280 Pro have a great mic. They're really a sleeper in the headphone game." The girl nodded her head more.
