The plane was arriving in Sligo, carrying one important person on it. It was that person that was going to make a change in this small town in Ireland. Bee was her name and she was the new assistant teacher. She would teach at the local grammar school. It was her first big job since graduating school a few months prior and she was excited.

"Oh my god, I am almost there." she said excitedly as she fastened her belt and prepared for the plane to set down.

It was 1am and the lights glowed in the eerie darkness as Bee watched the plane land. This would be her ever first trip to Sligo and she was scared and excited at the same time.

"What am I going to do?" she asked herself as she realized that her boarding house for the night was closed. "Well I guess I won't be going there after all." she said as the plane ride finally ended after thirteen hours.

She waited until the stewardess told her that it was time to leave the plane and so she unbuckled herself and stood. She opened the overhead compartment and pulled out her bags.

"What to do, what to do." she hummed as she made her way off the plane and into the terminal. She found families hugging people and it made her sad for a moment, longing for her own mom. But she moved on and to the airport restaurant, which to her relief was open.

She found a booth in the back and sat down. Her bags would be brought to her after talking to a man. He told her to relax and to wait. So she sat and waited for her bags to arrive and looked at the menu to see what she could get to munch on. And to her astonishment, all the food was quite cheap.

A waitress came order and asked if she wanted anything to drink and Bee nodded.

"Yes, I like to have a cola please."

The waitress nodded and walked over to the counter to fill her drink order.

Bee sighed and looked out the window. It had begun to rain and the weather matched her mood at the moment.

The waitress came back with her drink and asked if she wanted anything else. Bee nodded.

"I like a slice of pizza with an order of mozzarella sticks."

The waitress looked down to her and smiled sadly, "I can do the pizza, but the sticks will be a bit hard. You see I have no clue how to make them and the pizza is made, so I can pop it into the microwave."

Bee smiled. "I can show you if you like?"

The waitress smiled, "That would be wonderful!" she said and clapped her hands, "But aren't you waiting for your luggage?"

"Yes, I am. How about this, I will eat the pizza first and when my bags get here, I will put them behind the counter and show you how to make the sticks."

The waitress nodded and smiled, "By the way, I am Daunyel."

"Nice to meet you Daunyel, my name is Bee."

"Welcome to Sligo dearie." she said and walked into the kitchen to warm up her pizza.

Bee sat back down and smiled, her gloomy day was perking up.

Daunyel came back into the room carrying two plates; she set them down and smiled, "I decided to take my early dinner with you. That is if you don't mind."

Bee shook her head, "That's fine. It would be nice to talk to someone."

"Really. I have been here less than a week and I barely get anyone to chat to. I am so lonely here."

"Why did you pick this job and hours?" Bee asked.

"I wanted to work around less people. I hate the sun, so the night time is perfect for me." she sighed, "It is also a good time to see Westlife without all the fans when they come in." she said and grinned.
