"Come on Gang! Time for the show" A girl dressed in all purple smiled at the rest of the gang who were sat talking. The little pink one stood up first and walked over to the purple girl
"Coming Pip!" The pink one smiled as she rushed over to Pip (the purple girl) Pip smiled at the Pink girl before turned to the rest of the gang who were still sat down.
"Guys come on! If you don't come now me and Candi will do the show without you" Pip looked at the gang who all looked up at Pip and Candi (the pink girl) with shock. Pip and Candi looked at each other and the whole gang stood up and rushed over to them.
"Well done Pip! You made them all move" Candi giggled as she looked at the rest of the gang.
"Come on Dude, walk with me" the yellow one grabbed the blue ones arm. Dude (the blue one) tried to pull away but she had a tight grip on his arm and he couldn't. He turned around and mouthed "help" at the green one who was stood behind him.
"Mimi I think Dudes trying to get away, you need to hold him tighter" The green one said with a mischievous smile on his face, he liked to annoy Dude and he could do it by encouraging Mimi (the yellow one). Dude rolled his eyes at the green one
"Thanks a lot Sprout" Dude tried not to laugh as he knew that Sprout (the green one) didn't want to hurt him he just liked to annoy him. Mimi was now holding onto Dudes arm tighter.
"Come on Misty" the red one said looking at Misty (the grey one) who looked tired.
"I'm coming Bud" Misty rolled her eyes at Bud (the red one).
It was finally show time. The gang loved preforming together, today they were performing their safari show.
"I'm tired" Sprout sat down on the stage and sighed, Dude came up behind him and knelt down and put his hands onto Sprouts shoulders.
"Come on Sprout" Dude squeezed Sprouts shoulders and smiled at him. Sprout felt a weird feeling in his stomach, he didn't like it. Sprout jumped up and looked at Dude who looked a little shocked at Sprout. Dude put his arm around Sprout and smiled. Sprout had that weird feeling in his stomach again, he didn't like it, it felt like he had butterflies in his stomach.
"What happened today? Are you okay?" Dude looked at Sprout as they sat down after the show. Sprout looked at Dude and their eyes met, Sprout couldn't help but let a smile spread across his face.
"Yeah I'm fine Dude. I just felt a little sick"
Sprout looked away from Dude. Dude put his arm around Sprout again
"If you ever need me I'm here" Dude smiled and Sprout nodded before standing up and walking away
Sprout went into his bedroom and laid down on his bed. He had so many thoughts rushing through his mind. He still had the butterflies in his stomach, they came back when his and Dudes eyes met moments before. Why did he have these butterflies in his stomach? He had only had these once before when he liked a girl a few years ago but he didn't like Dude. Not like that. Dude was his best friend, nothing else. He just couldn't be gay, he couldn't like Dude like that and even if he did, Dude would never like him back.
It was a few days later and Sprout and Dude were sat watching a movie alone because everyone else had gone out. Dude looked at Sprout and smiled, Sprout didn't know that Dude was looking at his because he was too busy watching the movie but Dude was sat smiling at Sprout. Dude felt butterflies in his stomach, the same feeling sprout had, Dude didn't like it. Sprout turned to Dude and as their eyes met Dude quickly turned away, his face red from embarrassment.
"Dude?" Sprout looked at Dudes red face. Dude smiled to himself before turning to Sprout
"You have a pen mark on your cheek, it's annoying me so I stared at it" Dude pointed to a little pen mark that was on Sprouts cheek. That wasn't what Dude was staring at but it was something that Dude had noticed while he had been staring at Sprout.
Dude went into his room that night confused, why did he have butterflies when he looked at sprout? Did he like sprout? No he couldn't, he wasn't gay, Was he?
"CANDI! I need to talk to you" Sprout burst into Candi's bedroom and closed the door behind him
"What's up Sproutie?" Candi smiled at her brother
"I like someone" Sprout looked at the floor clearly embarrassed but Candi was one of the people he trusted with his life, she was the only one he could tell this big a secret to
"Who is it?" Candi smiled at Sprout
"Someone I shouldn't like" Sprout looked at Candi, he knew he shouldn't like this person but he did anyway and he had to tell someone
"Who is it Sproutie?" Candi wondered, she saw the nervous expression on Sprouts face
"Dude" Sprout mumbled hoping that Candi didn't hear but he wanted her to hear because she might be able to help him
"Does he know?" Candi smiled
"No and I'm not telling him" Sprout looked at Candi with a look that made Candi know that she wasn't allowed to tell either
"I think you should but I support you!" Candi flung her arms around Sprout and hugged him
"Thanks Cand" Sprout smiled as he hugged his sister.
