Jack's POV:

I woke up with a hard on, as usual. Sometimes I got off but today, I didn't feel like it. One orgasm a day would be enough and Angel told me I could fuck her tonight. She looked so pretty yesterday evening, I couldn't take my eyes off of her. And that red lingerie haunted me in my dreams.

When I headed down, I saw her sitting at her usual spot with her friends and grabbed a plate. A big smile was on my face as I walked to Tyrone and Phil. Both of them shared a glance and then raised their eyebrows. "What?" I asked as I sat down. I could see Angie from here. Something in her facial expression changed but she still had the most beautiful smile on her face as she was talking to someone at their table. "Why's the good mood?" Phil asked and took a sip from his tea.

"I don't know... maybe because it's matchday tomorrow." I lied. I took a bite of my bread and then glanced at Angie again.

She got up as soon as she catched my eyes, even though I gave her the brightest smile I had. She grabbed her plate and walked away, placing it where the dishes were and then walked out of the room. What was up?

"Excuse me for a sec." I murmured and got up. I followed her into the hallway and to the elevators. "Angie!"

She turned her head to look at me and put on a smile. "Good morning." I said and softened my voice now as I stepped closer. She nodded and pressed the button for the elevator. "Is everything okay? You look like something's wrong." I said. She shrugged. "Nothing's wrong. Also, I don't think why I would tell you."

I knew we weren't more than fuck buddies, but we were also starting to get to know each other. I wanted her to talk to me about anything. "Okay, sorry. So... tonight? Where and when? I could come to your room." I smiled and looked left and right to scan the area. "Yeah, I'll text you about it." She nodded. She wouldn't. I knew she wouldn't text me about it. So I guess I had to show up without telling her.

"Alright. Uhm, enjoy your day, yeah?" I asked and smiled again.

"Mhm."

And then I turned around. Don't turn to look at her while you walk away, my head told me. And what did my heart tell me? Nothing. Not a single reaction. It just kept pounding against my chest, making me feel nervous and... excited.

So I walked away. I left Angie standing there. If she wanted to put on that behaviour, I would be the last one to stop her.

After we all finished breakfast, we walked out of the room and into the hallway. We had to get ready for training. When we waited for the elevator, I saw Angie leaving the hotel. She was wearing Sweden Jersey. M. Ibrahimović was on the back. What? I was confused. Wait... Max. Maximilian? She was friends with Maximilian Ibrahimović?

I swallowed and tapped Masons shoulder. He turned around and smiled. "What does Angelina have to do with Maximilian Ibrahimović?" I asked him. He took a deep breath in.

"They were dating. Teen romance. And then they split up about two years ago. Still good friends." Declan answered my question, standing next to Mason. Dating... oh god. I could never be as good as him. Why was I thinking about that? I shouldn't have cared. Angie and I would be over in a few weeks anyways. Or would we?

I got a text a minute later.

Angel: White or red? no questions

Me: White x

Angel: thanks

I didn't get the conversation but I decided to leave it at that. She wasnt mad, that was the most important.
