Spencer Reid: We make up horrors to help us cope with the real ones.-Stephen King

To say that the case was puzzling to say the least as the team was going over the case in the BAU Jet that was taking them to the City of Angels. From the first glance they can tell that The UnSub's MO was adaptive, hinting that he/she is not afraid of using any type of object as a murder weapon. the first victim had his throat slashed by a broken mug while the second was shot in the head, highlighting some degree of marksmanship. But other than that there was no real connection between the two victims: Totally different backgrounds, different levels of educations and different socio economics, aside from the Glasglow smile the Unsub carved on both their lips. And there was no witness at both of those crime scene who saw the killer so there was no physical description of the UnSub. The forensics investigation was a bust because the crime scenes were dumping sites. No obvious motive aside from the brutality.

"These seems to be just random killings." Hotch mused.

"But why dump the bodies in such random places?" Morgan inquired. "Thomas Thurston was found backstage at a talk show studio and Ms Oliver at a maternity wing."

Rossi looked up from his iPad and saw Reid who was uncharacteristically quiet, tapping his fingers on a black box that was rest comfortably on his lap. "What you got there, Reid?"

"A little something from home." Reid said, patting the box. "I have a hunch on what our UnSub's killings are based on."

Before Reid could elaborate on his explanation, Garcia appeared on the screen of the computer on the table. "Sorry to be the bearer of even more bad news, my lovely Avengers but three new bodies have just been found. Each with the same trademark grins."

Three photos appeared on screen, each of three older, gruff looking males. One had a baldhead and goatee, another had a black mullet and the last one had a lip and eyebrow ring and buzz cut.

"Duncan Lang, Paul Rose and Steven Down were all found dead inside the Roxie Theatre."

Another photo appeared on the screen, this time of the three dead bodies of the men, which were lying on the ground that was covered with piles of money. Three more photos appeared and showed the faces of the victims, and as Garcia had mentioned, they had large cuts on the sides of their lips.

"What's with the money?" JJ asked.

"That's what the police still can't figure out," replied Garcia. "And that's not all. I did some digging into the other victims to find a connection and found some disturbing things."

Judging by the congested look on Garcia's face, whatever the connection she found was going to be ugly. "What is it, Garcia?" Hotch inquired.

"It turns out the two previous victims had a few bad run-ins with the law. And we're not talking about something like petty theft or tax fraud, we are talking major crimes." Garcia revealed. "In 2002, Thomas Thurston was arrested for "touching "a few of his patients. But he had a good lawyer and was set free three months after he was convicted for child molestation. As for Karen Oliver, she was a foster parent for a few years but then was accused of first degree child abuse in 2005 by her ex husband. Her neighbor witnessed her throwing one of her foster children down a huge flight of stairs, breaking his arm which led to CPS having her children taken away from her after the neighbour, but she didn't serve any jail time. I don't have any news about our three theatre victims, but I'll keep you posted."

"Thanks, Baby Girl." Morgan thanked her as the screen went black.

To say that it was interesting development would putting it mildly.

"Judging by the victims' criminal records, you think maybe our UnSub may be a mission oriented vigilante?" assumed JJ. "He might be killing these people as punishment for their past sins."
