I may hate Kaeya with growing passion and I won't deny the fact he just needs a little bit of love... But you guys give him that love, not me.

Kaeya Alberich
(What he would do if he was lonely)

–Would spend extra hours at work just to talk to his friends, co-workers and whatnot.

–Would visit the tavern to talk to Diluc, who would eventually kick him out for being too drunk.

–Come home drowsy and cling onto you, his lover, and mumble sweet nothings into your ear while blabbing about how lonely he is without you.

–You feed into his neediness and give him all the attention he craves.

Mini Onshot

"Kaeya." You mumbled his name as you both sat on the bed. His face was tucked comfortably into your stomach, warming up his body. "Yes, love?" He asked, lifting his head up to see your tired one. "How long are we going to stay like this?" You shot back with your own question. "I need to make us dinner." You tried to lift your body, but to no avail. He was clinging onto you and he was clinging tightly. "Just a few more minutes?" Kaeya asked, his eyes sparkled into yours making it hard to resist. "Well Cavalry Captain, I, for one, can't sleep without something in my stomach and you know that." You said, slowly pushing Kaeya off of you. "And second, you haven't changed out of your work clothes."

Kaeya looked down at himself. Yep, still in his work clothes. "Fine." Kaeya shot at you as he got off the bed. "I'll change." He walked into the bathroom of your master bedroom and closed the door behind him. You, however, sat on the bed in confusion. What, he mad at you? Or was he just being a baby about the issue? It didn't matter now as you walked to the kitchen.

You put on your lovely 'Kiss The Cook' apron and started cooking. You chopped up some vegetables and tomatoes. You left them to fry in the pan, while you prepared the beef you had. Smearing it with oil and seasonings, you put it in a tray and leave it in the burner. While tending to the vegetables again, you heard Kaeya's footsteps behind you. Soon enough, his hands were around your waist as you continued to cook.

"What are you making?" He asked you. You paid him no mind as you swirled around the vegetables. "Food." You replied jokingly. Kaeya rested his head on your shoulder and continued to whisper. "I know, but be more specific." He said. "Okay then, I'm making a meal... with beef." You said, more specifically like he asked. "Do you want me to help?" Kaeya asked. "Absolutely not. You may be less drunk than usual, but that doesn't mean I'll let you help." You said as you took seasonings from the far left and sprinkled them onto the vegetables. All while trying to manage the smell of alcohol that seeped through Kaeya's breath. "Aww, I'm sorry." He said.

Kaeya finally let go of your waist and sat down on the island nearby. "I was lonely, that's all." Kaeya said as he limped down onto the table in front of him. "If you were lonely why did you spend so much time away from me?" You asked.

Sure, you had work too, but even so you come home hours before Kaeya and he knew that. He could've come home at anytime.

"I didn't want to bother you." He replied. For the first time in a while, he sounded sad. "I burden you with most of my problems already and I-"

"No you don't." You stated before he could finish. "You've never burdened me with anything and you should stop thinking that. When we got married we both knew exactly what we were getting ourselves into. We knew we'd have to take care of each other no matter what. You don't burden me and you never have. Sure, a few things has happened to you in the past that I'm not aware of, and that may be why you never talk to me about your problems. But remember this: I'm here for you and I'll never leave."

Kaeya was shocked to see your dedication. You never even once stuttered a word. Your voice was demanding but caring all at the same time. You really did care.

"Now, come here." You said as you quickly put the fried vegetables in a bowl and left them to sit. Once Kaeya got off the island and walked over to you, you hugged him. "I want to hear that you love yourself, okay?" You asked. "Everytime you say something good about yourself I'll give you a kiss." Kaeya was silent before hugging your waist. "I love myself." He said quietly. You smiled and you kissed his forehead. "I'm confident and caring." Another kiss on his cheek. "I am a great husband." A kiss just on his neck. "And I love being here with you." And that earned him a passionate kiss on the lips.

"That's good to hear." You said to him with a soft smile. "Now, let me get the beef." Kaeya let go of you and watched you continue on cooking. He wondered how he got so lucky with you. How did he end up with someone so perfect yet too imperfect for him? He wondered that even when you were done cooking.

Once you two finished your food, it was bedtime and you two really need rest. You both hugged each other under the sheets and slowly drifted off to sleep.

"I love you." You said.
"I love you more." He replied.
"I love you most." You cornered.
