Date: February 13th 2024
Katie POV
It's been 5 months since Gracie was born and she's been amazing for the past 5 months. She been talking recently saying random things and it's so adorable to watch her talk. Niall went for a run while I'm at the apartment with Gracie. She is doing tummy time while I'm talking to Megan on the phone. She's on vacation with Chase. They're at Malibu.
"How's your vacation?" I asked Megan
"It's good. Our view is perfect. Look at this" she said as she flipped her camera to the view which is the ocean and some trees
"Jealous. I need a vacation" I told him
"From both of your kids?" Megan asked and I chuckled
"Niall is not a kid. If he was a kid then I won't date him for this long" I said
"I know I'm joking. I'm still wrapping my head that you have a kid with him now. This is crazy" she said
"I know it is. But we do love her" I told her
"Remember we used to write those fanfics back in the day where you will date Niall and I will date Louis. But you Niall were strong while Louis and I had to break up then you guys get pregnant and having a baby girl" she said and I laughed
"Yeah. I remember that and look at this. This is not a fanfic anymore. This is real life" I told her as I laid down beside Gracie and brought her to the frame so Megan can see her niece
"Yeah but I didn't date Louis yet" she pouted and I laughed
"You have Chase tho" I said
"But he is not British tho" she whined and I laughed
"I'm home" I heard Niall said
I sat up to see shirtless sweaty Niall coming to the apartment. I let out a cat whistle and he smiled at me.
"Hey you" he said as he came and ruffled my hair to make me groan "Hi pretty girl" Niall told Gracie as he picked her up and kissed her cheeks repeatedly to make her giggle and then put her on his hip
"See. This is the treatment I get now Megan. All the attention goes to this one now" I said as I got up and poked Gracie's belly to make her giggle
"I don't know Meg. I think Kate here is getting a little jealous" Niall told Megan
"Yeah I think so too Niall" Megan said
"I am not" I said
"Yes you are babe" Niall said as he put Gracie down but Gracie whined to let him pick her back up "What do you want? Hmm. Do you want me to hold you again?" Niall asked Gracie and she nodded her head yes "But dadda has to take a shower. He his all sweaty" Niall told her but she whined "Fine. I'll pick you up one more time" he said and picked her up to make her up again
"See like I said. She's the favourite now" I said
"She is not. You're still my #1" he told me
"Sure I am" I said
"Love you" he said
"Love you too" I said
"Ha! See you still love me" he said and I giggled
"I'm going to let you guys be. Chase and I are going to go out. Talk to you later?" Megan asked
"Yeah talk to you later. Send me more pictures" I told her
