"Oh, my gosh, Josh that's so dumb!"

Jessica said laughing, while she pushed Josh lightly.

Josh and Jessica were the 'best' couple in the small town of California, the two were inseparable except when it came to one girl..

"Bean, get back here!"

A little girl and boy were playing in the woods, tag..

"Get back here you cheater!"
"I can't help the fact you're slow!"
"I'll show you slow, Bean!"

The kids laughed.

"Jessica, go get your sister from outside, please!" the woman in the kitchen yelled to her 16 year old daughter.

"But mom!"
Jessica and Josh were sitting on the deck, the walnut brown wood was slightly heated from the blazing sun. The air felt warm with the rare chance of that ever slightly cold breeze of wind.

"No buts missy!"
Jessica crossed her arms and huffed.

"Hey, it's fine. I'll just get her, Jess."

Josh laughed slightly, patting Jessica's shoulder.

Before Jessica could say anything, the 17 year old boy got up and was walking to where they last saw Bean.

"Oh, Bean, come here!" Josh yelled, stepping in the dried up dirt, an unusual cedar shade of brown.

"Ok! Coming!" A 10 year old girl yelled back through the old dried tree's.

Then came a short girl, no taller than 4'6, she had slightly tanned skin from playing outside, she was wearing a pear white dress that ended at her knees, but right below her knees were fluffy pink socks filled with dry dirt. Lastly her syrup brown here with poorly bleached ends that looked cyber yellow instead of the wanted light yellow. She had bangs that covered her eyes, her hair was in 2 pigtails. Lastly, multiple brightly colored bracelets.

"Hey, Bean. your mom said that its time to go home."

Josh gave an honest smile, even though he was not planning to take her home.

Bean followed him, no question asked, why would she question someone who could trust?

That was until she realized that they were just going deeper into the woods...

"Josh? Why aren't we going home? Josh? Josh? Josh?! Josh, don't touch me! No, Josh, stop!"

"Honey, where is Bean? I asked you to get her hours ago!"

The woman was now standing angrily on the porch tapping her foot impatiently.

"Oh my gosh mom! I don't know, Josh said he was getting her!"

Jessica yelled as she stood up from the steps.

"You will not talk to me like that young lady-"

Before the lady could say anything more, there came running a disheveled looking Josh, his hair was messed up and had scratched as if he got attacked, his clothes looked torn as well.

"Jessica! I couldn't find Bean!"

Josh was huffing and puffing...

"What?! Josh, what do you mean you couldn't find her!?"
Jessica ran to him, without skipping a beat.

"What!? Oh, Lord, please don't take my baby!"
The two girls' mother ran inside and called the police on their landline phone.

The police got there 28 minutes later..

When they got there they saw two teenagers, one crying the other comforting the one crying. A woman in her mid 30's crying calling for someone just outside of the woods.

Once she saw the police got there, the woman walked up to them and started to talk,

"M-my baby! She's gone! W-w-we tried looking for her! We can't find her!"

The woman started to cry more.

"Calm down ma'am, what happened?"
"Calm down?! My baby is out there cold and alone!"
"Ma'am, you need to tell us what happened."
"My baby... she's gone!"

Josh walked up to the police, slowly trembling.

"B-bean, Miss Good's youngest daughter, she was playing in the woods, i-it got late s-s-so I went to look for her, I heard her scream I ran after the scream and found nothing..."
