Together forever: a beastboy and Raven story

Raven stood on the roof of Titans Tower, looking out at the city. It had been ten years since she had last been here, and she felt a sense of nostalgia wash over her. This place had been her home, her family. But now, it was just a memory.

She heard footsteps behind her and turned to see Beastboy walking towards her. He looked older, more mature, but there was still a sense of playfulness in his eyes.

"Hey," he said, smiling at her.

"Hey," she replied, returning the smile. "It's good to see you again."

They sat down next to each other, and Raven felt a sense of comfort being next to him. He had always been able to make her feel at ease, even during the toughest times.

"So, what brings you back here?" Beastboy asked, breaking the silence.

"I'm not sure," Raven replied. "I just felt like I needed to come back, to see the city again."

Beastboy nodded, understanding. "I know what you mean. It's hard to let go of the past."

Raven looked out at the city again, lost in thought. She couldn't help but think about what had happened to the Titans, about how they had all gone their separate ways. It had all started with a mission gone wrong, but it had snowballed from there. They had all started to drift apart, to become distant from each other.

"Hey, Raven?" Beastboy said, interrupting her thoughts.

"Yeah?" she replied.

"I was just thinking... do you ever regret leaving the Titans?"

Raven thought about it for a moment. "No, I don't regret it. It was time for all of us to move on, to find our own paths."

Beastboy nodded, but Raven could tell that he wasn't entirely convinced. She knew that he had always been the heart of the team, the one who had kept them all together. And she knew that he had taken the breakup of the Titans harder than anyone else.

"I just wish things could have been different," Beastboy said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Raven put her hand on his shoulder. "I know. But sometimes, things just don't work out the way we want them to."

They sat in silence again, both lost in their own thoughts. Raven thought about the Titans, about how close they had all been. But something had happened, something that had driven them all apart. She wasn't to happy with how things had turned out with the team prayer to now.

"I can't belive this is a new start for us" beastboy said as I noded as we watched the sunset in the soon to be start filled sky.....
