It was the day after Athanasia's coronation..
Jennette and her father moved to a new town.
"Jennette,are you okay?" Anastacius asked Jennette.
"Y,yeah.." She exclaimed.
"Hm?"
Jennette was always lost in thoughts after they moved in to the new town. Anastacius was worried. Maybe she doesn't like the new town?
Anastacius sighed.
"Ah. Dad!" Jennette called out.
"Yes?"
"Can we go to the festival tomorrow?"
Anastacius' eyes widened. "Yes.." He mumbled softly. He thought that maybe if him and Jennette go together at the festival and spend some time together.. maybe he can get closer to her.
"Really?!"
Jennette beamed with happiness.
"Yay!" Jennette ran towards Anastacius and hugged him tight with a bright smile on her face. Anastacius smiled.
At the festival...
Jennette was walking around the festival and saw food stalls.
The food looked delicious! Jennette asked her father if she could buy some. He nodded and handed her some coins. She went to the stall and bought 2 of the food for her and her father.
Jennette handed the food to Anastacius. "I,I'm fine..." Anastacius hesitated.
"But it's delicious!" Jennette shouted at her father.
Anastacius sighed and took a bite.
They both continued going around the festival as they heared a commotion happening.
They both looked at the food stall where they heard the noise from.
"Is this seriously all you have?!" The boy shouted.
Jennette's eyes widened to her sight. The boy was very beautiful..!
Anastacius flinched as he saw the young boy. "Agriche.." He scoffed.
Agriche was the surname of one of the men he used to work with,Lant. Anastacius hated Lant,he hated his face,everything about him. He cut ties with him after Lant left Anastacius saying that he was "weakening".
And that boy.. is Jeremy Agriche.
Jeremy slammed the vendor's head on the concrete floor as the vendor cried and blood squirted from his head.
Jennette's eyes widened to her sight and so did Anastacius'.
'What the hell..' Anastacius said in his inner thoughts.
"Jennette.." Anastacius called out to Jennette.
"W,What are you doing...!"
Jennette shouted.
"..."
"What?" Jeremy turned to Jennette.
