My name is Alexandra Lillian Salvatore, in the past 24 hours I have been captured, tortured and almost blown up. All thanks to one family; The Mikaelsons. To understand how I got here I have to start at the beginning.

Sabine was out giving a tour to a group of people, "Welcome to New Orleans and the crown jewel of the Crescent City, the French Quarter. Jazz and jambalaya, romance, poetry and not to mention the things that go bump in the night." She said, as what no one knew outside the the city was that those "things" are very much real. "Monsters that feed off human blood, vengeful spirits of the dead, and my personal favorite, the witches. Here we have the voodoo shop. Go on, browse for a hex." She had felt a presence following her for awhile, she turned around "Are you going to continue following me, Elijah, or do you wanna talk?"

"You know who I am?" Elijah questioned in slight surprise.

"Original vampire, always wears a suit. You and your family are famous amongst the witches, especially with your... brother back in town." Sabine said, looking at the well dressed original.

Elijah couldn't help but chuckle and looked at the witch, "Niklaus is here because he learned that a witch was conspiring against him. Someone by the name of Jane-Anne Deveraux."

"Well, if he's looking for Jane Anne, he's a little late." Sabine informed the original

"Are you telling me she's dead?"

"Come on, her sister Sophie's gonna want to talk to you." Sabine informed him. She led him to a group of witches surrounding a dead body, blood on the neck. Elijah was confused and shocked "That's Jane-Anne? Killed in public for anyone to find.. Please tell me that my brother had nothing to do with this."

"No. Jane-Anne died because she got caught doing magic." Sabine informed the original "You wanna know who killed Jane-Anne? You're about to get your first glimpse of Marcel and Alexandra in action."

Having not hear those two particular names in a very long time, he was in shock "The vampires Marcel and Alexandra?"

Sabine looked back in the noble original "Things have changed since your family left town. Marcel and Alex have changed." She told him as they heard a whistle as vampires start to crowd the street. The witch instantly looked worried, "I'm asking you, stay hidden. If Marcel finds out that a witch lured the Originals back into town, my people will be slaughtered." Elijah nodded, obliging with the request as he sped to a nearby balcony.

A group of vampires lead by Marcel Gerald and a dark haired, thin, brown eyed young woman surrounded the witches. "Well, well, well, what have we here? I gotta tell you Soph, this street corner is not proving the luckiest spot for your family tonight."Marcel said, with a grin. "Not half an hour ago, we had to teach your sister a little lesson."

Sophie glared at Marcel and his group of vampires, with hate and anger in her eyes. "We're putting her to rest Marcel. Leave us alone." She said, sternly.

Marcel looked behind him at the dark haired with a grin, before turning his attention back to Sophie. "We never said you could move the body. Matter of fact, we left her here for a reason; to send a message." He said, then turned to look at the group "If anybody is thinking of joining some kind of rebellion, my rules state that witches can't practice magic in the Quarter. Yet a little birdy informed me that Jane-Anne was cooking up something magically delicious." That's when the woman behind him spoke up, "While we have you, quick Q and A. Marcels old friend – the hybrid, Klaus: he just happened to show up out of the blue asking Marcel for, of all people, Jane-Anne. Any idea why?" She questioned.

"I don't know. Witches don't get involved in vampire business." Sophie said, venom in her voice. Elijah was watching this unfold, shocked to see both Marcel and Alex alive after all this time.

Alex grinned "That would be pretty stupid, that's for sure." Alexandra motioned to the vampires behind her. "Take the body."

Sophie instantly looked at Alex and Marcel, 'What? No! Stop! Stop Alex. Please her body wont be at rest." She bagged.

"Not our problem"

Elijah followed Sophie to Lafayette cemetery, as the original went to walk in he hit an invisible barrier and looked at Sophie. Sophie looked back at Elijah, "This is sacred ground, which means vampires have to be invited in. But, since I'm desperate... Come on in." She said continuing to lead the noble original further in the cemetery "We can talk freely here."

"Then I suggest you start talking. What did your sister want with Niklaus?" Elijah immediately questioned, not playing around.

"We have a vampire problem, and we need help. Marcel has an army backing him. The witches have been trying to fight back. We haven't had much luck, until my sister Jane-Anne met a girl, a werewolf passing through the quarter from a small town in Virginia." Sophie started to explain to the original. "She had a special connection to your brother."

Elijah looked at the witch confused, intrigued and interested; "What kind of connection?"

As Sophie lead the original into a crypt as she continued to explained; "Apparently, they spent some time together. One thing led to another and now this special werewolf girl – she's pregnant. And the father of the child she's carrying is your brother Klaus."

Elijah immediately was taken back, "That's impossible." Once they arrived and walked in "Nothing is impossible, especially not when it comes to your brother." Sophie told him, "Think about it – they call him the hybrid, right?" Once she finished explaining, She raises her voice and turns her head. "Bring her out!"

Three witches walk out, standing in a formation around a pregnant werewolf girl. Elijah watched her with instant interest; while the wolf girl seemed a bit confused and really irritated. "Who the hell are you?" The wolf questioned.

Elijah smirked and turned to Sophie, "Give us a moment, please." The suited original turned his attention to the brunette wolf girl, as they started talking as they were left inside a burial vault, lit by candle's. "So, have they been holding you here against your will?" Elijah questioned, genuine concern in his tone.

Hayley scoffed, annoyed at the situation she got her self into. "They lured me out to the bayou and grabbed me. And they did all these... weird witchy tests. Not that I understand how this could happen." She said with a hushed sigh "I mean, vampires are dead. They can't have children!"

Elijah gave a slight grin as not many people understood his family's history, "Perhaps if you knew my brother's story, it might explain how this is possible. Here, if I may." Elijah says as he tried to lay his hand on Hayley's temple, but she recoils.

Hayley shook her head and pulled back some, "What are you doing?"

Elijah looked at her and sighed "Relax. If you open your mind to me, I can show you." He explained; after Hayley allowed Elijah to touch her head. They close their eyes as Elijah showed and explained their history and why they are the way they are. "In the beginning, our family was human... A thousand years ago, now." He began to tell the wolf.
