{ABOVE IS WHAT LIGHTSTAR LOOKS LIKE^ THE BABY}
3rd POV
"That doesn't follow. Optimus knew Megatron." Arcee argued. "They were like BFF'S."
::He was even confused when he saw us.:: Bee beeped. "If Optimus did not know his own name, perhaps it is because the title of Prime hasn't been yet given to him." Ratchet explained.
"Huh?"
"What?"
"Say again?"
"With the power of the Matrix no longer within him, It would stand to reason that Optimus has reverted to his pre-prime state. The historical archivist: Orion Pax." Ratchet explained. "You mean in his mind?" June Darby asked.
"Are you telling me Prime thinks he's some kind of Decepticon and a librarian?" Fowler snarled.
Suddenly there was a sound of a baby crying. Everyone turned. "Hey. It's okay." Ratchet soothed softly. The baby reached for Ratchet and he picked it up. Everyone besides the ones who knew widened their eyes.
"Softspark didn't survive the birth." Ratchet explained. Everyone looked down.
Ratchet calmed the child down. "Being a Decepticon is choice, Agent Fowler. One, that I have a hard time believing Optimus would make in any point of his life." Ratchet said.
"So if he's riding with the 'Cons. . ." Bulkhead started.
"It's because Megatron's some kind of voo-doo." Arcee finished. "Orion Pax may not currently be an Autobot up here, But I believe he will always be one, in here." He said patting his chest. "We must set to work on finding him." He said.
"Hold up. I have a chip lodged in my behind that lets Uncle Sam know would I stop for donuts. Are you telling me you can't just track Prime?" Fowler asked. "Optimus's signal has not been available since he embarked from Earth's core, but we must get to work finding him, if we have any hope of initiating his contingency plan." Ratchet said.
"Contingency plan?" Arcee asked.
"What Contingency plan?" Bulk asked.
"Is that even a word?" Miko asked.
"The keycard. So what's it do?" He asked. "It grants access to Vector Sigma. The prository of the wisdom of the Primes."
"Is that some sort of super computer?" Raf asked. "So we can just download Optimus' memories back into him. Great. Which one's the big V? Over here? Somewhere in back?"
"Vector Sigma is more than a super computer, Jack. It is a source of mystical power. On Cybertron." He told him.
"Jackson Darby. You will not be traveling to another planet." His mother snarled. "I'm in!" Miko volunteered.
"You're not going either, Miko. Not when one of you can." June snapped. Arcee, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead looked at each other. "June's right. Why send the boy to do a bot's job?" Agent Fowler asked. "Because, only a Prime can access Vector Sigma. Or one chosen by a Prime. Optimus gave the keycard to Jack. It is now imprinted by his unique bio-signature."
"So you mean Jack's some sort of honorary Prime?" Miko asked. "Let's just say Jack is the only one who can return Optimus to the Autobot we knew."
"But why would Optimus willfully endanger a human. A child!"
"I-I'm not a child, Mom!" Jack snapped. "Maybe Optimus believes there's more to Jack than meets the eye." Arcee suggested.
"All of which is moot. The Keycard is useless without a means of Reaching Cybertron which we at present do not possess."
"Uh, Dude. What about that?" Miko asked. "Miko, the ground bridge barely got them into Earth's orbit, remember?"
"Yeah, But Ratchet build it. Can't he like, I don't know, turbo charge it or something."
Ratchet then looked down in thought.
Once Ratchet fed Lightstar. He made a play pin for her and he put her on the big blanket he found. She giggled and played with a few of Ratchet's wrenches. She giggled and Bluestrike was laying right next to the play pin.
Rafael was on his laptop when he heard sounds. He saw Ratchet at the ground bridge. "Ratchet. Are you. . . Turbo charging the Ground bridge?" He asked.
"Tinkering. No need to get anyone's hope's up just yet." Ratchet informed the child.
"RATCHET! YOU AWAKE? This is an emergency." Fowler yelled. "Agent Fowler, is it Optimus?"
"It's 'Cons. And they're busting into the same military naval research lab they hit two months ago." Fowler said.
::What are they building?:: Bee asked. "Another space bridge?"
"For all we know, Optimus is riding with them." Arcee said.
"Roll out!" Ratchet ordered.
