ROTTMNT || My AU || Leo Angst

Summary:
Leo would go out and stay topside for hours without telling anyone where he is or is going to. They decided to confront Leo about this saying it worries them all but they weren't expecting Leo to lash out and what was said broke all their hearts.

3rd POV
"Guys? Has anyone seen Leo?" Mikey asked his other brothers and sister, April, as he had tried to find Leo to give him something but after looking everywhere, after looking in the normal places first for his blue brother, he couldn't find him anywhere. They all looked at Donnie and Don then looked at his tech wrist thing. Donnie sighed and Mikey was worried and confused.

"He was topside... again. He's coming back now tho." Donnie said as he stopped looking at his tech wrist thing and looked at the entrance just as Leo walked though. Leo looked up and around at each of the others before Mikey ran towards him with a huge smile on his face.

"LEO! I made something for you." Mikey said as he hugged Leo and then started to pull Leo to where the gift(?) is but is stopped by April. Mikey looks at her with confusion but after he realizes the look she is giving to Leo he is quick to say to Leo.

"Nevermind. I actually still need to add somethings to it." Mikey said as he then ran off to go 'add somethings' to his gift(?) even tho he didn't need to but now he can see if he can add some stuff to the scarfs.

Leo's POV
Here we go again. I thought to myself as April and the others looked at me with worry and concern in their eyes.

"Leo. Why do you keep doing this? Don't you realize it worries us?" Raph questioned as he stood up and walked over to me with worry and concern in his eyes. Ha. They are worried. That's funny. Liars. The Voices said to me as I rolled my eyes and started to walk to my room.

"Leonardo." I heard and I stopped. Great. Splinters here. I thought to myself as Splinter moved so he was in front of me instead of behind me. He looked at me as if I was going to open up as soon as I saw him. I didn't. So he continued.

"My son, why do you keep going topside without telling anyone or even leaving a note?" Splinter questioned as he looked at me with worry, hope and disappointment in his eyes. Disappointment? Of course. That's all you are to them. Is a disappointment. The Voices thought to me and that's when I realized they are back. The voices. And just as I thought I was getting better with dealing with them.

'They don't care about you. They only see you as a Burden. That is all you'll ever be.' The Voices said as I closed my eyes and shacked my head. I hate this. I hate feeling like this.

'YOUR ARE THEY LEAST FAVOURITE!!' The Voices yelled as I opened my eyes only to see Splinter, April and my brothers (Except Mikey) in front of me saying something but I couldn't make out what they are saying. The Voices are too loud. I looked around and my eyes landed on Donnie. As I stared at him I hoped my eyes or whatever told him I needed only him right now.

Donnie's POV
As I looked at Leo I saw something I was hoping to rarely see in his eyes. He needs me. I thought as I started to come up with an excuse for everyone to leave.

"Everyone leave." I said in a tone that Leo and April know well. I hoped everyone would listen and leave but I was wrong.

"What's wrong with Leo?" Raph asked as he looked as if it was something he needed to know. I sighed as I moved so I was closer to Leo.

"I need to check on his wounds but I need him to be calm for me to know what's going on." I explained as I started to type on my wrist tech. I mean, It's not a total lie I thought as I sighed again.

"Okay call us if you need to." April said as she started to push Raph and Dad out of the living room. I looked over at her and did a slight nod. She did it back, understanding what's happening.

3rd POV
"Leo, I need you to breathe for me ok?" Donnie tired as he gently took Leos hand and placed it over his heart changing his breathing hoping Leo would follow.

2 Min Later

"You ok now?" Donnie asked as he and Leo are sitting next to each other Donnie keeping his arm around Leo in a comfortable way tho.

"Y...Yeah." Leo stuttered out as he shook his head a bit and then sighed shakily. He is keeping something from us but... I hope I'm wrong. Donnie thought to himself as he readies himself for whatever happens after he asks Leo this question.

"Leo? Are you going to tell me what happened to make you go into a panic attack? I thought you were better to the point you didn't have them anymore, almost." Donnie explained as he was worried and curious about this. Leo took a deep breath and then began to explain.

Leo's POV
I took a deep breath and then I began to explain to Dee what happened and decided if I should tell him about the voices or not.

After Leo explain and is now about to tell Donnie about the voices

"Also is it normal to hear voices even if no one is talking? Like in your head?" I asked as I wanted to know if what I hear is normal and can be helped or if I was insane.

"Well..." Donnie started but trailed off and sighed as he removed his arm which made me think it was not normal until he stood up and moved so he was in front of me and put his hand out silently saying to get up. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up and started to walk with me to his lab without letting go of my hand.

After we got into Donnie's lab we both sat down on the 2 chairs he has in his lab. Donnie rolled over to where his computer is and started to type something.

"What are you doing, Dee?" I asked as I moved so I was next to him still on the chair.

"You asked about hearing voices, correct?" Donnie questioned as he raised an eyebrow while he typed in the search bar something. I nodded confused.

"Well...I am looking up about that to see if 1. Is it normal? and 2. Is there a way to stop hearing voices? It might help or not. Tho I...I still want to try and help." Donnie explained as he typed away on his keyboard looking at the big screen. He seemed worried.

2 hours later(3rd POV)

After what felt like years went by, Donnie finally found what he needed. Donnie turned to where Leo was and saw he was asleep. Did he get any sleep before he le- Donnie thought as he realized what might be the reason Leo goes topside without telling anyone.

"Leo, time to wake up." Donnie said as he shacked Leos shoulder a bit to get him to wake up. Leo stirs and wakes up rubbing his eyes from sleep.

"Brother?" Leo said as he looked up at Donnie. Donnie frowned in worry. He sounds so small and in pain Donnie thought as he moved over to Leo and put his hand on Leos head.

"Well... you don't feel or seem sick." Donnie said as he watched Leo rub his eyes. Somethings not right here Donnie thought to himself as he decided to ask a question praying that with Leo being still tired that he will say the truth without realising it.

"Did you get any sleep before you left? Is there a reason why you go topside?" Donnie asked as he looked Leo in the eyes.

"One, no. I got no sleep and two, Why do you want or need to know why I go topside?" Leo questioned much to Donnies disappointment.

"I want to know because your my brother and brothers help each other, right?" Donnie said as he decided to pull Leo into a hug seeing that he needed a hug. Leo just chirped happily and nodded.
