I was sitting with my best friend jaehyung in the canteen . It's the lunch time .

'I don't know man , it's been months I have been trying but she is not showing any reaction . It's very hard for me to make her fall for me '

I told him .

' are you giving up already ? '

'Already ? I have been trying from months . I m not even sincere . I don't know what's happening or what happened with her . But she is so persistent and stubborn . I m already giving up the hope of her falling for me '

'You are gonna lose the bet bro '

I sighed . Bet ......?

' I guess I m gonna lose it for the first time then '

' wait for few more days jungkook . I m sure your hard work will pay off . If she still doesn't fall for you then give up . I don't want you to lose '

' no jaehyun. It won't work trust me . I don't know why she is so stubborn and is not falling for me . Let's stop it here . I feel like I m already forcing myself on her too much . '

' I guess she is having a secret boyfriend. Then what other reason will be there for her to not fall for you . You have tried all those tricks out there '

I looked at him . Boyfriend ? No way . I can assure that she is not having one . Then what other reason is there ? Why is she so cold hearted ?

We finished our lunch . I didn't see y/n from that day . I expected her to come to me to say thanks atleast . But I didn't even get a glimpse of her . Maybe she is not coming to school or doesn't want to show herself to me and avoiding me . Even I didn't try to look for her much . I wanted some reaction from her but sadly my hopes died .

' I m gonna turn off the bet this week with heesun '

Just I was about to get up from the seat jaehyun stopped me .

'Bro look who is coming '

He pointed at a direction and I saw y/n .

Wait what ? Is that y/n really ? Walking towards my direction ?

'Let's go . She is not coming to me anyways '

I sighed and rested my back on the chair . Shockingly she came to our table and looked at me . But not with that cold irritated look she gives me everytime we meet . This time her expressions were different . They were soft .

She handed me a bag and I looked into it . It's that jacket I gave her the other day when she was on her periods . She is returning me it .

' I dry cleaned it . Thanks again '

She passed me a small smile and left from there .

Am I hallucinating? Did she really come and greet me and then thanking me and then smiling at me ? No way this is real .

My friend hit my hand in excitement confirming that I wasn't dreaming .

I smiled thinking about how my efforts are finally paying off . Though that day , me giving her jacket wasn't planned . But still something finally worked on her .
