29 ~ Convincing

The next day arjun decided to meet balram.. He stayed in Krishna's hut..

Arjun's POV

I got down from the horse seeing dau.. He looked at me... He smiled at me forcefully

"Paaarth! You are here!!" Madhav exclaimed Making me smile... He hugged me tightly

"Don't be afraid.. I'm with you" he whispered in my ears.. I nodded and we broke the hug

"Arjun! Did you come again to take our Bhadra's happiness?!" Satyaki asked coming near me

"Satyaki.. He's our guest" Satyaki controlled himself at bhrata balram's order

"Come inside arjun.. You are always welcome in here" i walked inside..

"How are you? Is everything fine in Indraprastha" Dau asked me ordering a maid to bring me something to drink

"I am fine dau." I paused.. I didn't know how to express my thoughts to him.. I was afraid

"Dau.. I.. " before i could start he stopped me

"Don't arjun.. I know what you are about to say.. I can't give my gudiya to you.. I'm sorry" he said standing up

"But why dau?! Nobody can love her like i love her dau! I don't even know how to say how much i love her!" He Looked at me

"Please dau.. She's the only thought that makes me want to live.. I can't imagine my life without her.. I will take good care of her dau.. I will die before something happens to her.. I am ready to sacrifice my life if it's for her.. Please dau, I'm begging you" i couldn't stop my tears

He opened my folded hands

"Listen arjun, you are like a younger brother to me.. I know that you love her so much.. But i can't take risk.. It's gudiya.. You have no idea how important she is to me... She's my daughter Arjun! How can i risk her life? You know that Indraprastha is cursed land! Are you asking me to sacrifice my gudiya to confirm it?" I was speechless.. I didn't have anything to defend him.. This is the first time i saw him cry

"What if there's no curse dau? Please! I.. I can't live without her" i knelt before him with Pleading hands

"Parth! What are you doing?!" Madhav made me stand up

"Please madhav! I won't let anything happen to her.. She's the only hope left in my life.. Don't take her away from me" I felt like i was going to die

"Are you heartless dau?! See how much he fights for Gudiya! There is no curse! It's stupidity!I am telling you dau. There's no curse.. Trust me"  Dau kept quiet

"It was fate what killed them, don't blame it on the land! What have he done to suffer this much dau? What has gudiya done to suffer this much?! Is falling in love a sin?! Don't do this dau! This is not you! Trust me!" Dau looked up at us

"Do as you want kanha.. She's not only my sister.. You too have right to make decisions about her.. I am not going to be a throne in your way" he left the hall leaving us behind

"Can i talk to him?" I turned back and found Vyasamahirshi standing with bhadra.. I looked at madhav.. He gave me a mysterious smile
