Y/n POV

I grabbed a book off the shelf and smiled when I saw it was the one I wanted. "Welcome!" The store clerk greeted a girl who had just entered.

I looked to the side and saw Hori walking up to Yoshikawa. "You find what you were looking for?" She asked her.

"No. I could find it online I bet." Yoshikawa smiled as I looked at her with a smile of my own. "Easy."

"Or you could ask a clerk to help you." Hori suggested but Yoshikawa just shook her head.

"Nah. There's no need. I'm independent." She smiled while I shook my head, smiling gently.

"Hey, I'm gonna go check this out." I informed the group as I started to walk to the register.

"You're checking out? I found something I want, too. I'll come with you." Miyamura told me as he grabbed his bag and walked with me.

I suddenly stopped and looked at Hori. "Did you find anything, Hori?" I asked her with a raised brow.

"No. Not yet." She informed me making me confused.

"Okay then." I smiled as Miyamura and I continued to walk to the register.

I put my book down as Miyamura put his down as well. "Will that be all." The clerk smiled at us while scanning the books.

"Yes. Thank you." I smiled at her.

"That will be 2,390 yen, please." She informed me as I went to take out my money from my bag.

"Here you go." I heard Miyamura say. I looked up and frowned when I noticed he already paid the clerk for both our books.

"Miyamura!" I whined while pouting a bit. He smiled at me innocently, pretending like he didn't do anything.

"What?" He asked making me hum in frustration.

"I could've paid, you know? At least let me pay you for mine." I said as I handed him my money.

"No need. I don't need you to pay me back. So stop giving me your money." He chuckled while pushing my hand back to me.

"You sure?" I asked again, not wanting to feel guilty for not paying him.

"Yeah. I'm sure." He smiled while grabbing the bag the clerk had given him, along with his change.

"You two are such an adorable couple." She cooed making me tense up, an embarrassed blush making its way onto my face.

"Oh, we're not...." I was about to explain to her until I was cut off.

"Hey, we're leaving! We couldn't find anything here so we decided to come tomorrow." Toru informed Miyamura and I.

I nodded and walked with them outside, Miyamura walking beside me.

'I wonder why he didn't say anything to the clerk. He should've told her he already had a girlfriend. And it wasn't me.' I thought, smiling when Yoshikawa started to annoy Toru.

Miyamura's POV

'An adorable couple, huh?' I thought while sneaking a quick glance at a smiling y/n. She's everything to me. The day I had kissed her, was the day I realized that I couldn't love anyone else but her.

'I'm sorry, Hori.' I thought while staring at her with a sad expression, although I quickly replaced it with a smile once she walked towards me. I grabbed her hand, but I couldn't intertwine our fingers. And we continued to walk with the rest.

I was walking with Sakura through the halls, just talking about normal things. Classes had ended and she and I decided to walk home together after doing some paperwork.
