At Night on Thabeska...

A human traveler can be seen walking down a path, with a blurrg on a lead carrying metal parts and scraps in a satchel along it's back. Soon, a hooded Maul walks into view and says "Excuse me...kind sir?" The traveler stops. "I am in need of supplies if you can give me some."

The male traveler responds "Oh uh..." He chuckles briefly. "Uh...little bit late for bargaining, but uh..." He raises his hands and jovially says. "Ah what the heck. Tell me what ya need, stranger."

Maul lets out a breath and says "Now, you see...a friend of mine is...well...let's just say that he's not...all together..."

"Tsk. Yeah, I hear ya. I had friend or two who lost limbs fighting against the Separatists." The traveler turns away from Maul and looks through the satchel that the blurrg is carrying. "Got some limb replacements if you need em. How many do you need, Stranger?"

"Two arms, and two legs," Maul says as he slowly pulls something out of his pocket.

"Two arms and legs? Damn. You're friend must be in pretty bad shape if he needs all that. I should have everything you need, but it won't be cheap sadly. Got enough credits do you think?" The hooded Sith then deploys his red saber blade.

In Hyperspace...

Clodd's vessel continues on it's way to the Ethosian homeworld. Inside the transport, R3 is currently displaying an old holographic recording. The holographic video itself shows a conversation between Padawans Bakkou and Barriss. Here, the young Bakkou tells Offee "Look...I don't need your feigned sympathy, Barriss. I'm done talking about this."

Offee is stunned. Sounding sincere, she says "Bakkou...Listen. I-I...Please...Try to understand. I'm just trying to be helpful."

"Yeah? Well, you blew it. You really think that comparing our situations is helpful? You don't even know what it's like losing a mother and a father!"

"We...uh...Jedi walk away from family from a young age..."

Bakkou cuts her off. "Spare me that crap! Death and Distance are not the same thing, Barriss!"

"I...I suppose not, but..." Barriss lets out a sigh, and changes her tone completely. "Dammit...Y-You really are exhausting. Do you know that? Ugh..." She shakes her head. "Such a pain."

"Then why are you still talking to me?" Bakkou asks.

Offee is not amused. "Bakkou...From where I'm standing..." She points a finger at him. "...You are not fit to be a Jedi. If it were up to me, I'd have you expelled from the order. Why the Council even bothers to keep you around is beyond me."

Bakkou chuckles at this. "You're one to talk."

As the hologram disappears, Ahsoka comments "Bakkou and Barriss never got along, did they?"
