Emerald City: The Origin Story

Chapter 1 - The Big Boom

Narrator: Emerald's alarm goes off.

Emerald: Time for another boring day again. I never have anything to do.

Narrator: Emerald goes downstairs to see Tristan already eating breakfast.

Tristan: Good morning! How was your sleep?

Emerald: My sleep was good! I couldn't fall asleep that well because I couldn't stop thinking about the new park with a stage opening in a week.

Tristan: Me too! I am so excited about it! I heard that 3 famous music artists are going to have a concert there on its opening night.

Emerald: We should take our families with us!

Tristan: That is a good idea! I will let them know now.

Emerald: I'm off to go spend some time with family. See ya later!

Tristan: See ya!

Narrator: Emerald leaves and arrives at his parent's house.

Emerald: Hello? Anyone home?

Narrator: Emerald's uncle, John, comes downstairs.

John: Hey Emerald! Everyone went to work.

Emerald: You and everyone else should come to the park with the stage on its opening night.

John: Ok, I will let everyone know

Emerald: Ok thanks! Bye!

Narrator: Emerald stops by the park before going home.

Emerald: I can't wait for this to be open.

Mayor: Emerald! Come help with the stage!

Narrator: Emerald helps the mayor with the stage for 2 hours, and Emerald adds something to the stage that he says he will save for later.

Mayor: Thanks for the help, Emerald!

Emerald: Yeah no problem!

Narrator: Emerald heads home.

Emerald: Hey Tristan! I helped the mayor with the stage!

Tristan: What does it look like?

Emerald: I can't tell you, you have to wait until it opens in a week!

Tristan: Dang it!

Emerald: We have some stuff to finish on Xbox, so let's go finish that.

Narrator: Emerald and Tristan played on their Xboxes for the entire week. They of course made videos on YouTube while playing.
