The screen came on
Burning blue flames, a smoky cube shape emerges-The Tesseract. Filling the screen with blackness.
"what was that?" Someone asked from the Hufflepuff table.
"You don't wanna know, believe me." Steve said, making people more curious.
[EXT. THRONE ROOM-SPACE-NIGHT]
Kneeling behind a throne, a clothed, armoured figure known as The Other, bows.
The Other: The Tesseract has awakened. It is on a little world. A human world. They would wield its power.
The Other faces a horned shaped shadow. Loki. Loki is handed the Chitauri Scepter, a long golden handle, fitted with a blue gem encircled with silver blades.
The Other: But our ally knows it's working as they never will. He is ready to lead. And our force, our Chitauri will follow.
View changes to tens of thousands of Chitauri standing ready in a seething mass of neat rows and columns, the ground simply quakes.
The people in the great hall were terrified. Aliens are real.
Loki was a bit scared of seeing his new family's reactions. Skyla as if sensing where his thoughts were, grabbed his hand in silent support of her beloved. Loki smiled at her in thanks, gently kissing her forehead.
"So that's what happened." Tony said being more understanding now seeing the bigger picture.
The Other: The world will be his. The universe yours. And the humans, what can they do but burn?
"What do they mean by burn?!" Lily Potter screeched, much to the displeasure of the people with sensitive hearing. Nobody replied though, it was pretty obvious what was said."
[EXT. S.H.I.E.L.D-PROJECT P.E.G.A.S.U.S FACILITY-NIGHT]
Out in the New Mexico desert, a remote research facility is in a state of panic, it's an evacuation. A swooping helicopter flies in. It's absolute chaos, men in suits running around, soldiers on foot jumping onto Humvees, accelerating the hell out of there. A voice bellows from the hidden loudspeakers.
[EXT. HELICOPTER PAD-CONTINUOUS]
Standing a few yards from the landing pad, a Fed in a suit with badass shades, peers at the helicopter as it lands. This is SHIELD Agent Phil Coulson. Walking out of the helicopter is SHIELD Agents Maria Hill and Natasha Romanoff, sexy, fierce, and determined. Following them, SHIELD Director Nick Fury climbs out. Hill, Romanoff, and Fury approach Agent Coulson.
The Avengers looked on sadly at Coulson, except for the Romanoff's and Clint. Skyla saw the look on Loki's face, it was full of guilt, and she decided to tell them.
"Guys, and especially Loki, my love, listen Coulson is alove. He's leading a covert team of the best agents SHIELD has to offer and it was safer, according to Fury, to not tell you the truth." Skyla said hoping to ease their sadness, and her beloved's guilt.
The Avengers nodded, surprised but happy.
Loki was relieved, he was the one death he regretted causing, he was....is a good man. Skyla as if sensing he was lost in his thoughts, grabbed his hand, placing a kiss on the back of it. He smiled down at her in thanks, before pressing a kiss to the side of her head.
