pablo rushed me to the hospital, I stayed unconscious.
everything was either a blur or I just blacked out.
I woke up to Ella next to me.
"Laura? LAURA! ARE YOU OKAY? YOU'RE ALL OVER THE NEWS". she said while crying and holding onto my hands.
I looked around and then remember what happened yesterday.
"Ella, woah slow down." I said
Ella explained what happened yesterday, pablo had called her about what happened, and she came as soon as possible. however, news spread and everyone was talking about how Pablo cheated on me with Mia.
I was in disbelief. pablo brought me to the hospital?? he still cared?, even with all those lies spread about me and his friend?
Ella called pablo and explained to him how I was awake.
pablo came as soon as possible and we exchanged awkward eye contact.
"so... are you feeling better?" he asked. I could see he barely slept.
Ella left the room to give us space.
"Im good. thank you," I said.
"glad youre feeling better,- ill just leave now." he said.
he left and me and Ella left after a few shots and tests.
2 weeks later :
I attended a Barcelona game. pablo and I weren't talking as much, but still, I supported the team, and even if I don't get invited by pablo for vip seats, I will still attend the game.
when I parked I saw Pedri, and Lew. I greeted them and they came over to me.
"hey Laura how are you?" Pedri asked.
I told him I was better and that I came to support the team.
he was glad and asked if I wanted to greet the rest of the team before the game started.
I said sure, but was scared to encounter pablo.
when I walked into the changing rooms I saw that girl from last time.
ava.
she seemed shocked when she saw me.
"hey guys, I brought Laura to say hi" Pedri said.
I saw pablo turn around to look at me.
I shyly greeted everyone but pablo. when I was my turn to greet pablo I awkwardly smiled and shook his hand.
"hey" I said.
"hey." he said back and then went to tie his cleats.
ok... I thought. maybe we weren't in good hands after all?
after the game :
I decided to talk to pablo at the end of the game.
I saw pablo outside in the parking lot with security.
I ran up to him and tapped his shoulder.
"so, are we good pablo?" I asked.
"god Laura I can't keep it anymore" he said.
"im sorry. im sorry that I didnt believe you. im sorry I slept with mia. im sorry I treated you with all the disrespect you didnt deserve, and worst of all, im sorry I broke our trust. Im sorry." he bursted out.
I stood silent for a second, then went for a hug.
"oh pablo, I missed you, and I forgive you." I said.
we hugged for a long time.
a few days later :
pablo and i declared official again, and this time, he promised to trust me at all times. I believed him, he's a man of word.
pablo wanted me to meet his family. I agreed and thought it was a good idea.
pablo drove me to his families house, and there I met his sister, aurora. she was even more beautiful in real life.
"hey, im Laura" I said while kissing both sides of her cheeks.
"Laura!!" aurora said.
"its a pleasure to meet you really." she said.
I gave a wide smile.
during the dinner, pablos parents asked me all sorts of questions,
"did you go to college?, whats your job? how old are you? where are you from?"
most of them were the basics.
I answered all of their questions with confidence. pablo looked at me proudly and held my hand.
before we finished pablo brought me to his backyard. it was huge, with lots of trees. it was dark but the fairy lights brightened the way.
"your parents are lovely" I said.
"youre lovely" he said.
I blushed so hard.
pablo then brought me to a water fountain.
we sat and talked.
"im so lucky to have you." he said.
"im so lucky to have YOU" I said back.
he then got up, and went on one knee.
"pablo-" I said.
