Spencer Reid was always a little different from the rest. He was a genius with an IQ that surpassed most people his age. However, his social awkwardness often made him feel like an outsider, especially when it came to dating.

One night, after a never ending pestering from the team be finally decided to go out because he was lacking fun and had nothing better to do, at first he wasn't drunk a few girls( and guys) came up to him seeming to show interesting but after one conversation they couldn't keep up the alcohol distorting and slowing their abilities to process what he was saying, eventually Derek and Luke convinced him to have a drink.. and another.. and another.. until his voice slurred his vision spinning slightly and after a few too many drinks he must have found someone who was intereses in him and kept up with him, the next morning  Spencer found himself waking up next to a beautiful girl he barely remembered( If at all )meeting. In a moment of panic, he fled from her apartment, she woke up in the process and he said hi and exchanged pleasantries, he apologised for having to leave but he was already late to work so he hastily gathered his clothing shoving it on and hurrying home to have a shower and question his life, after that he tried to forget and not to look back on it, no matter how beautiful the girl he managed to pull was he couldn't he was embarrassed that he had just left.

Just as Spencer's luck would bring him .Weeks later, fate brought them together again. This time, the girl was sitting in Hotches' office waiting, leg bouncing.
Spencer couldn't believe his eyes - he couldn't escape the feeling that it was meant to be. He thought he would never see the girl again, but fate had other plans.

Spencer didn't know what to do, and his mind was racing with what to say. Should he ignore her, pretend nothing happened, or should he try to talk to her?

After much deliberation, he decided to go to Penny and Derek they suggested that he should plan a perfect date to make up for leaving so quickly a few weeks prior. Spencer was hesitant at first, but he realized that he had nothing to lose and decided to go for it.
Spencer approached Y/n when she left the office he waited for her to finish her conversation before talking to her.
"Hi.." Spencer stepped into her field of view
"Oh hello, it's you?"
"It's Urm yeah.. me.. I was wondering if maybe, you I don't know wanted to go on a date with me at some time"
"Urm sure why the hell not you're cute and smart so why not. What day?"
"How about Thursday at 8"
"Yeah that sounds great"
" okay urm cool how fun see you on Thursday then I'll plan the best date ever"
"Mhmm" y/n smiled.

As Spencer nervously waited for his date to arrive, his heart raced with anticipation. He knew he had planned the perfect evening, with the help of Derek and Penny ofc, but he couldn't help the butterflies in his stomach. Finally, Y/N appeared at the restaurant's entrance, stunning in a red dress that matched her luscious lips.

They made their way to their table, and Spencer couldn't help but feel the electricity between them. The conversation was effortless, and they laughed like they had known each other for years. As they sipped their wine, Spencer leaned in and whispered, "I have a few surprises for you."
"Oh do you now?" Y/n asked with a smirk on her face
Y/N's eyes widened with excitement as Spencer led her to the rooftop of the building. It was a clear night, and the stars shone brightly above them. Spencer had arranged for a private stargazing session, and as they lay down on the blanket, he pointed out the constellations.

The night was perfect, and as they chatted about life and love, the chemistry between them intensified. The moment was right, and Spencer leaned in to kiss Y/N. The kiss was everything they had both hoped for and more. It was as if the stars had aligned, and they were meant to be together.

As the night came to an end, Spencer and Y/N exchanged phone numbers and promised to see each other again. As they said their goodbyes, they both knew that this was the beginning of something special. That fate brought them together in an off way.
Days turned into weeks, and Spencer and Y/N couldn't get each other off their minds. They went on more dates and continued falling for each other. And as they looked up at the stars, they both knew that their love was written in the cosmos.  And that it was forever forged  in the stars and time that this fate was carved and moulded into place just for them. They had their awkward moments, but they never let anything come between them. Spencer felt lucky to have her in his life, and he knew that he would never let her go.
