The bell rang, and all of Rin's classmates scattered out of class. The boy got up and accidentally hit his knee on the desk.
"Ow, ow, ow," he slightly limped over to the door. The boy sighed, but his worries went away as a bubbly Kona popped into the doorframe.
"Hi Rin!" She smiled. "I'll show you to the café." Rin nodded and followed her lead. The hallway was bright and pretty, he had the sudden urge to go outside.
"It's so pretty outside. It's a shame we can't go out right now." Kona pointed her lips.
Wow! It's like she read my mind!
They got to the café and Rin wowed as there were lines of vending machines for snacks, and they were also serving hot meals. Kona walked over to a machine that was selling drinks.
"Banana milk is my favorite. Have you ever had it?" She asked.
Rin shook his head.
Kona reached over to grab the drink she had just bought and gave it to Rin.
"Wuh, I can't take this. You paid for it." Rin abundantly waved his hands.
"Think of it as a welcoming gift!" The girl smiled and shoved it to Rin's chest.
The boy took the drink and put his head down to hide his pale complexion that was growing pink.
"Kona! There you are, you're still with this nerd?" Hyuk walked up to Kona. He swung his arm around her shoulder and looked at Rin.
"I'm still showing him around." Kona raised an eyebrow as a 'duhh' to Hyuk.
"Let's go, our friends are waiting." Hyuk turned with Kona and walked away.
Rin looked up and pursed his lips, staring at the milk. It was cold, and there was water sliding down the sides.
He smiled to himself and got a hot meal.
