Only Skin Deep

PERFECT!

Corbin:
The movie is about to start when Alex comes and sits down next to me. At that moment I realize that she a lot closer to me than I thought she was. Dang she has more conference than I do. On the inside I am freaking out, but I managed to ask one question as I scoot closer to her. "So, what movie is this anyways?"
After I say that I notice that our hips are almost touching!
"It's called 'Last Love', I hope you don't mind it's a love story."
"I don't mind at all," I say with a smile as I put my arm on the back of the couch behind her. We sit there for a couple of seconds just looking into each others eyes. They are just so beautiful as always. At first I am a little nervous but as the movie starts she stops looking at me and reaches over to turn off a lamp that is next to the couch and the room get really dark except for the T.V. I can barely see her and she is sitting right next to me. My arm drops to about her waist, when she sits back I take my hand and pull her really close. She leans into me as she puts her head on my shoulder and my confidence comes back. I can tell that she is smiling.
Finnaly almost perfect, this would all be fully perfect if she would just remember, or I could just forget.
When I stop distracting myself with my thoughts. I start to focus on her just her nothing else not even the movie.

I am guessing that the movie is half way over because Alex pauses the movie and asks," would you like anything to drink?"
"Some water would be nice but I can get it if you want,"I say trying not to be inpolite.
"Oh, no it's ok I got it, just make yourself at home,"she says with that adorable smile.
"Okay," I say as I lay out fully on the couch and when she comes back I say,"Is this at home enough," this is me trying to make a joke ,but I wasn't expecting what came next.
"As long as you scoot over your fine,"she says as she sets down the drinks
"Oh, okay," I say as I scoot to the back of the couch.
"What you don't want me to lay next to you on this tiny couch where we will have to be really really close to fit on," she says in an angry like voice but she is smiling the whole time.
"Oh, no that is not what I was trying to say at all you just caught me off guard," I say trying to save myself.
"Dude I was just joking, can't you take a joke," she says laughing and then she lays down next to me facing the T.V. She was right we are sitting really close I am kind of losing my confidence again,but I really want to put my arm around her. She plays the movie and about five minutes after that I say in my head 'to the heck with it' and I set my hand on her waist. As I get my confidence back I slowly move my hand to her stomach and pull her closer. After a minute or so later she takes her hand and locks fingers with mine.
On the inside I think I am freaking out even more than before. I don't know why I am freaking out so much maybe it's because I've been waiting so long to hold her close again.

At the end of the movie she lets go of my hand and turns the T.V. off but she doesn't move to get up or anything, instead she turns around my hand still on her stomach, now on her lower back. All I can think of to do is to smile,(which she probably won't see because the room is so dark) but she totally catches me off guard and leans straight in for a kiss and it's not just a kiss and go it's like a minute or two minute kiss. And I am not complaining I'm just saying. After that we kind of just lay there neither one of us gets up the only thing that has happened is that she has moved a little closer. It has been so long that we both just end up falling asleep.
All I can think is perfect.
