Unexpected love || sheldon x reader ||

documentry p.2

(You and sheldon sat down to watch a documentary on the sofa, you start to feel a bit sick. How will he react?  btw this is p.2 of 'morning toast' so if u havent read that pls read it)

You sit down on the sofa after bringing a blanket from the cupboard as it was still a little cold. Sheldon was already sitting there choosing a documentary to watch, you saw he chose one about eels or something. "Y/N I chose this one, is that okay with you?" He asks after he pulls the blanket over his legs. "Yeah- *sniff* Its all good-" You sneeze after replying. "Oh- Y/N are you sick? I advise you to-" he stops before finishing the sentence, he was going to say: 'I advise you to go into another room, the spread of bacteria can be deadly, i dont know what sickness your carrying and i don't want to know.' But he didn't say that.

Sheldons POV:
She sneezed gross! "Oh- Y/N are you sick I advise you to-" I didn't finish that. The truth was.. I didn't feel like making her leave, I didn't feel like being away from her.. My hearts beating in my stomach.. Whats happening!? Am I sick? What are these thoughts and feeling Ive been having..

No ones POV:
"Sorry Sheldon, what did you say?" You asked as you were a bit invested in the documentary. "Oh uh- I just said that if your sick you should sneeze into a tissue" Sheldon passes a tissue box to you. "Oh thanks" you say between a sniffle.
You and Sheldon watch the documentary about eels without really talking to each other, you didn't notice Sheldon glancing at you ever minute or so. The documentary was surprisingly interesting. About a bit more than halfway through Sheldon glances to see you, but he dosent see you, well not the top half of you. He suddenly feels his shoulder heavy, he turns to see a Y/N resting against it fast asleep.

Sheldons POV:
I turn to see Y/N, why do i keep looking at her? Why do i want to see her!? Except she wasn't there. I feel my shoulder get heavy. oh my- is she- is she sleeping on me? I see her fast asleep laying peacefully on my shoulder. My breathing slightly quickens, i feel sweaty all of a sudden, my cheeks tingle. My heart feels like its about to explode. What's happening!? Thats it Im getting answers, and i think i know were to find them. I slowly shimmy to the side and off the couch, my right hand lays underneath Y/N's should and my right on her waist. I felt extremely weird and flustered but i needed to put my hand there to stabilise her while i got up. I slowly lower lower my hands and shes laying on the couch just like she was in the morning.

Okay now Sheldon, to your room. I walk to my room and shut the door, I lock it, I haven't locked my door in awhile usually i have nothing to hide. Then i spot it.. The box. It had Georgie's old things in it since i took his room after he left the house. I rummage through the closed but open box. I find a crusty lotion bottle and some magazines, Cmon! Cmon where is it!? I finally pick up a magazine the cover is a soft pink colour with the big bold words 'ARE YOU INLOVE?' Those words shivered down my spine spine. This magazine was definitely Georgies less.. alluring magazine he had, I hadn't seen the inside but there wasn't sticky lotion splotches on it or damp paper so it should be fine to use.

Sheldon flips to the first page, carefully reading the table of contents, he sees: HOW DO YOU KNOW/THE SIGNS OF LOVE . 14 , Sheldon skips to page 14 and sees a big blob of writing then some dot points underneath. He begins reading the paragraph his cheeks turning red at some slightly un-heavenly parts, soon he get to the dot points and reads them.
He realises he's been feeling all the feeling's stated on the page meaning he in-fact is in love. But he then realises he dosent fit one of them and its the one that says: 6. HAVING INTIMATE THOUGHTS AND FEELING ABOUT THEM , Sheldon began to think if he had ever felt anything like that, 'Ew no gross! Were so young we shouldn't be think about those things'
a voice said but then there was another, 'aww cmon Shellyy, i know you want to~ maybe you should go back to the couch no one will be home for at least half an hour~ that gives you plenty of time t-' he closed the magazine tightly and threw it onto the floor, he didn't really care about it anymore.

He just laid there on his bed staring at the ceiling. THUD THUD THUD! the noise on his door broke his train of thought (im not telling u what he was thinking btw, make it up when u try to go to sleep tonight x)

"Sheldon?" You knock on his door.
'Uh-Uhm- wait im coming in a second!'
Sheldon quickly shoves the magazine under his pillow and adjusts his bowtie before unlocking the door
"Oh- your awake! Do you need anything?"
