I look up to see his concerned face and I just push him off a little to wipe my tears away.
"Look I don't need you to pretend to care okay? I have enough people that do that now." I whisper to him fearing that if I say it louder I'll cry again. He almost looks hurt by my comment.
"But I,I wasn't pretending" He stutters out. A look of shock takes over my face. He sits on his bed putting his hand behind his neck and looks at the ceiling. "You know, I'm really not that awful of a person." He devulges not moving his gaze from the ceiling.
Intreging, I thought to myself. I promtly sit up and urge him to continue.
"Why are you here? No, not like I hate you being here...well..." I'm cut off by his chuckle. He cocks his head to the side to look me in the eyes making my insides melt.
"Are you asking me what my talent is?" He retorts pretending to be hurt. It makes me giggle a little, which of course makes me blush. I look up to witness him look at me smiling and sitting up slightly. It's weird to think only a few hours ago I was ready to load a gun but now I just want to talk all night with him. I still felt like he was playing me. "My talent is singing and dancing." What he says shocks me, my jaw drops to the ground. My reaction makes him chuckle a little and turn to face me. "So why are you here?" He smiles widely awaiting my reply.
What am I here for? His smile made me forget what we were even talking about. "Uhm I'm here for dancing." I reply turning my face away from him. Oh great he's probably going to be an amazing dancer and I'm just going to look like a scared elephant trying to groove.
"Oh that's so cool, so what type of dancing do you do?!" I don't know why but he actually sounds interested in my story.
