To a New Genesis! The New Era Pirates!

Onward to a New Genesis!

Me: Ever since Film Red and the discovery of Uta was canon. I figured, why not create a story of the two of them becoming co-captains of their own crew? And most of the people who follow me might be quite surprised to see One Piece. I am a huge fan of One Piece and it is actually the first anime I've watched. Now as you can see, the Izukus aren't here. That's because I won't be bringing them to another fandom that isn't in a crossover with them. Anyways enjoy!

Luffy didn't want to say goodbye to Shanks and Uta. He wanted to stay with them, to compete with Uta more, to hang out with Shanks more. So he had an idea. While no one was looking he'll sneak into the boat and hide inside one of the empty barrels while no one was looking. He actually succeeded which was surprising and was successfully hidden in Shanks' ship.

Luffy: Hehe, I can't wait to surprise them!

Uta didn't know why Luffy didn't come to say goodbye. She probably thinks he was way too upset that they were leaving. She was saddened that she couldn't see him but they were already setting sail so there was no way for them to turn around and see Luffy one last time before they head to Elegia.

Shanks: Still upset that Luffy didn't bid farewell?

Uta: Yeah...

Shanks: Well anchor might've been upset that we were leaving.

Uta: True, he did get very close to the crew.

Shanks: The contests the both of you did, hehehe.

Uta: I won most of them!

Suddenly they heard a muffled sound from a barrel.

Uta: Did you hear that?

Shanks: ...Don't tell me he-

All of a sudden a stretched out fist punched the lid off of the barrel and then broke the barrel entirely.

Luffy: I won them!

Uta: L-Luffy?!

Luffy: Shishishi, didn't expect to see me now did you? I was hiding there the whole time!

Shanks: You're really full of surprises, Anchor. Though we should probably get you back to Foosha.

Luffy shook his head denying to go back.

Luffy: No way I want to stay with you guys!

Uta: Luffy...that's your hometown. Wouldn't you miss it?

Luffy turned to Uta and grinned.

Luffy: A bit, but I wanna go out to sea with you guys! When I said I wanted to be in your crew, I meant it!

Shanks then walked towards Luffy and stared at him straight in the eyes and Luffy stared back unwavering. The two kept at this stare down before Shanks began to chuckle and then it became a full on laugh. Luffy and Uta looked at him with confusion.

Shanks: Well, I guess there's no convincing you otherwise huh? Alright, you can stay.

Uta: R-Really?!

Luffy: Yes!

Shanks: Though that does mean you are now an apprentice of my crew so you'll have to help out around the ship with Uta. Do you think you can handle it?

Luffy: Of course I can! I bet I will do an even better job than her!

Uta: As if! Just like in all our contests, I'll come out on top!
