It's so bright out. I'm gon sit and eat out there. Kentrell sat on his porch steps eating as he felt the cool stone metal pressed underneath his thighs. He felt so content. After he finished his cereal, he rushed back inside his house, wanting to wash and rinse out his bowl before grabbing his big bag of candy. A few days ago, he just felt like having candy, so he went to the store and bought king-size jumbo, the size of everything he liked. In hindsight, he should not have shopped while hungry, but now he's glad he did. His bag was full.
Kentrell grabbed the bag and returned to sitting on his porch, eating again. He was currently people-watching and munching on his candy, sour gummi, to be exact. It was his least favorite, so he started with those. He looked around as he ate, looking over his surroundings. He watched as a woman walked up the block with a bag, bags in her hands, as she headed to the house across from his. He only noticed that because of the way she slammed the front door, it could be heard way across the way toward him. Before Kentrell could react or shake his head, the young woman was back out of the house, closing the door gently. He chewed on his candy harder, glad it was gummy by the way he was chewing. He couldn't believe his eyes. Was he seeing this?
"She's pregnant?!"
