I wrapped my arms tighter around his chest as I nuzzled my face into his neck, taking in the familiar smell of his cologne.
'You know we've got to get out of bed right?'
'Can't we just stay like this forever Kev? '
He pulled away from me and lifted up my chin with his hand, 'Trust me Larsen, I'd give anything to stay like this forever. Waking up next to you every morning is a blessing itself. BUT you've got to finish that painting today.'
I whined, 'Just five minutes more please.'
'Okay just five minutes' he smiled.
'Just five more minutes Kev' I mumbled into the sheets.
'You've been saying that for the past hour Larsen.'
Wait. That was Kevin's voice. But what was he doing in my room?
I slowly opened my eyes and squinted when the bright sunlight hit my face. That familiar scent of cologne which I absolutely loved. That little tune he would hum while making me my morning coffee. It took me some time to realize that I was not in my home after all.
I sprang up from bed at once.
'What the hell am I doing here? where is my- argh fuck' I winced in pain, it was the worst headache ever. I felt like my skull was about to split in half.'Easy there Larsen. What? Did you just expect to chug down bottles of alcohol and not have the worst hangover the next day? What were you thinking doing there all alone and being SO drunk? What if I had not been there?' Kevin entered the room with some advil and water.
He was shirtless as usual and I couldn't help but stare. Standing at 6 foot 4 inches his body was sculpted like art. His figure was more on the leaner side but at the same time VERY muscular.
Holding my shoulders, he made me sit back down again, 'Here, take the advil, for the headache'.
'I don't want it.' I looked down to see I wasn't wearing the black dress, instead I was in one of his shirts. Just like old times. 'Where are my clothes? You changed me into your clothes?'
'You had puked all over that dress, you wanted me to let you sleep in that? And you were too drunk to change yourself so I had to do it for you' he shrugged.
'Okay. I have to go' I got up again and grabbed my things.
'Hey hey wait Larsen, where will you go with that headache of yours? Stay for a while, I made you coffee, just how you used to like it. And would you tell me what you were doing all alone in a club? '
'Listen here Kevin. Thank you for helping me last night, but don't you dare think that this would be your excuse to walk back into my life. I don't ever want to see your face again so please, stay away from me, it's the least you could do' I said before I stormed off.

'Did you get home okay last night? I'm SO sorry Miss Larsen' Luke apologized for the nth time.
'Yes I did Luke, stop apologizing, is Sarah okay?'
'You bet I am Olivia, don't you guys dare go out drinking without me again' Sarah entered the office carrying in coffee for everyone. I got up and hugged her tight, 'Thank god you're okay.'
'My classes will start in sometime. Miss Larsen you have a dinner meeting with that big collector this evening don't forget. I've sent you the reservation details. Gotta run now, bye Sarah.'
