Even though I'd been the one to make the first move, I grunted in surprise. For the first time since I was a sophomore in college, I was kissing a man.

A man who was...a ghost.

And, said ghost was kissing me back to within an inch of my life.

Holy shit.

Daniel's lips were cool on mine, but as the kiss deepened, they seemed to grow warmer, as did the skin of his neck as I buried both of my hands in his silky white-blond hair. He whimpered against my mouth, and the sound sent every drop of blood in me straight to my groin.

I kissed him harder, held him closer, and felt the glowing ember between us burst into flames.

Finally, I drew back, dizzy with the lack of oxygen. Daniel didn't need to breathe during a heavy makeout session, but I sure did. I stared into his eyes, consumed with lust and a magnetic desire to rip that horrible gown off his body and devour him whole.

"What's wrong?" Daniel whispered. His eyes, gone nearly black with naked, unabashed desire, were glued to mine.

I grinned. "Nothing at all. I just needed to breathe."

Daniel's mouth made a silent O before he said, "Forgive me. I forgot about that."

"Nothing to forgive," I growled before attacking his mouth again.

I had no clue if ghosts could have sex. I had no clue if even Daniel knew the answer to that or even if he was a virgin or not. I decided to let him take the lead, to go as far as he wanted to go, or could go. All I knew was that I wanted him, in whatever way I could have him.

"Your thoughts are very loud," Daniel murmured, kissing down my neck. With that, he took one of my hands and lay it over his crotch, where I encountered, to my amazement, his obvious arousal.

"As you can see, Jace, I'm fully capable of giving you pleasure, if that is what you want."

Oh, this was going to be one hell of a night.

We found our way to the bedroom. Through a haze of lust, I thought we probably should use the larger bed in Aunt Lorraine's old room, but Daniel directed us into the guest room where I'd been sleeping since moving in. The twin bed was cramped for two grown men to sleep in, but I suspected very little sleeping was going to take place for a while.

Daniel's strength surprised me. He picked me up and laid me on the bed before straddling me, staring down at me with those piercing blue eyes I could clearly see despite the darkness of the room. "Are you sure you want this, Jace? It isn't the liquor you drank, is it? Do you truly want this with me?"

I was only lightly buzzed, so it was most definitely not Jack fueling my actions. I nodded quickly. "Daniel, I want this with you more than anything."

He cocked his head to the side, studying me intently. "Frankly, I'm stunned as to how you could want me, but I will not question it."

"Why wouldn't I want you? Because you're a ghost? So what?"

Daniel laughed. "'So what', he says. Oh, Jace, darling, you're so precious. Now, allow me to take care of you."

He leaned down to kiss me, gripping my hair in his hands. I slid mine up and down his back, encountering the buttons that held his gown closed. I began to work them open, delighting in his silky smooth skin as it was revealed to my questing hands, I then tossed the gown aside as Daniel quickly rid me of my jeans and t-shirt. Finally with both of us fully naked, our hands and mouths touched, explored, relished, and prepared each other for what was to come.
