✯𐬽𑗎꧁꧂𑗎𐬼✯One word. Or perhaps, one name. Stiles. The annoying, over protective, and insanely stupid (but actually super smart) boy, oh did i mention annoying, continued to throw pebbles at the bedroom window of Emilia Nagual.
"Stiles, what the hell are you doing?!" She softly screamed as she looked down at the younger boy from her bedroom window in her pajamas, as he stood in front of the bushes in her backyard. It was common for the boy to hop the fence with their other best friend Scott to gain easy access to the girls room, as they had a sleepover almost every weekend.
Except, it wasn't a weekend. It was Tuesday. The night before the first day of school. She'd been trying to get a good night sleep like Scott had suggested as they were both trying out for the lacrosse team again. They'd been practicing all summer and they'd officially became front-line-worthy.
Last year, Emilia hadn't made the team because she would've been the first, and only, girl to play lacrosse for Beacon Hills. So, she was the the girl who helped with the medical stuff, brought out water and snacks, and was basically a bench-warming busgirl.
"You weren't answering your phone." Stiles said, raising his shoulder as she checked the time from her nightstand. It was 11:27 at night, and she realized she'd only been asleep for about an hour. Earliest she'd ever gone to sleep as she thought about it.
"What do you want Stiles- and Scott. I'm trying to get a good nights rest and your throwing rocks at my window." She lightly yelled at the now two boys, as Scott hopped over the fence and stood next to Stiles.
"A good nights rest? I - wha - look, I know it's late, but you gotta hear this. I saw my dad leave 20 minutes ago. Dispatch called. They're bringing in every officer from the Beacon Department, and even State Police." Stiles said as the girls brows furrowed together, her face filled with confusion.
"Two joggers found a body in the woods." Scott said, squinting his eyes so he could see the girl better, the dark sky making it hard to point her out with her tan complexion.
"A dead body?!" She yelled as she scrambled to get on a long sleeve shirt and some sweatpants to joint them. The second Scott said that people had found a body, she needed in.
"No, a body of water. Yes, dumbass, a dead body."Stiles said as the girl climbed out of her window in her sneakers, and onto the roof. She snuck farther down before jumping off onto her trampoline and next to Scott and Stiles.
"Hey, no need to call me a dumbass, at least I passed Mr. Harris's class. Do they know who it is?" She said as they climbed over her fence and into the woods behind her house, her attention turning to Scott after dissing Stiles.
"Just that it was a girl, probably in her 20s." Scott explained as Stiles got slightly even more excited, lightly skipping down a trail.
"The best part, they only found half. We're going." He said as he grabbed Scott and Emilia's arms, yanking them along with him. Scott was hesitant at letting him drag them around like this, fear overwhelming his mind.
"Are you sure we should do this?" He asked, trying not to agitate the buzz cut boy.
"You're the one always bitching that nothing ever happens in this town." He said in disbelief as the got deeper in, going off the trail.
