Meanwhile, Aaron was walking down the quiet hallway with his coffee in his hand. He stop into his tracks and he turned his head around, and he looked at the metal vent on the floor.
He didn't noticed that Maria was behind him. "What the-?" Maria grabbed his head and twisted it.

Riley perked up when the monitor beeped, while (Y/N) just typed on his laptop. "(Y/N), look. The cure..." She stopped typing and she glanced at him before the monitor shows the cure.
"See, told ya. I'm a genius." Riley playfully smiled at her, and the lights went off. "What the hell?" (Y/N) muttered, and the alarm blared.
"Hey Riley, why everything was about to shut down?" Riley shrugged at her.

Maria flipped the small lever, and a green fog went inside of the vent, she smirked before she stood up.

People coughed at the hallway, and they slumped on the floor. Their veins are crawling all over the body. While Riley and (Y/N) were still inside of the office.
(Y/N) holds her breath, trying not to inhale the fog. Riley's veins slowly crawled all over his body too. "Riley!"
"No, (Y/N) stay away from me! I'm infected!" He tried to stand up, but she didn't care at all. She slung his arm over her shoulder, and they exit the room.
"(Y/N) no..." Riley softly pleaded but she ignored him. She placed her hand on the scanner to let themselves in. "Shut up Riley, just... let me do it!"
She placed Riley on the chair, but his body is still weak. She took of his laboratory coat and she placed it on the table, she grabbed the cure injection.
"Okay, hold still." She muttered, and she injected him. Riley gasped and his body was still twitching, (Y/N) step back from him. He gasped loudly and the veins in his body is gone.
He slumped on the floor, while (Y/N) just grabbed his shoulders lightly shaking him. "Riley! C'mon we gotta get out of here." He nodded, stood up, but he stumbled as he landed on her arms.
"(Y/N)..." She stopped on her tracks but he just buried his face onto her shoulder. "Thank you, darling." He muttered knowing she can hear him.
Does she really think that her and Riley are just partners?
She shook her head with that thought before she hugged him back. "Of course, but we have to get going okay?" Riley nodded and he released her from a hug.
Riley slung his arm over her shoulder for support, and she wrapped her other arm to his waist to stay still, and they exited the room again, and they stopped on their tracks.
Aaron became a zombie as he bite the dead-scientist on the floor. (Y/N) scrunched her nose in disgust.
Riley's stomach became churn and his eyes are widen in fear, Aaron twisted his head and his eyes are filled with hunger.
"Aaron..."
Aaron yells and charged the two, and the two of them gasped/shrieks, and they stumbled on the floor. "Riley!" She yelled in worry, and Aaron turns his head to her with a snarl. "Oh shit.."
Thanks to Riley, he grabbed the fire extinguisher, and he slammed it on Aaron's head. Once he did it again, until Aaron's skull was crushed.
"Why? Why now?" Riley questions, while the (H/C) girl put her hand onto his shoulder, "Here?"
"It's like it was planned." She mumbled, and they can still hear the zombies snarling. Making Riley's eyes became anger, and they looked at the hallway revealing three zombies.
They both ran into the office, and they hid under the desk together. Riley helds her, to stay calm. They looked at the window and the zombies ran passed to them, Riley slowly released her, panting quietly.
(Y/N) slowly gets up at the desk and she saw a bottle of water, she quickly grabbed the water bottle, and she gave it to him. Riley drank the water, nodding in thanks. (Y/N) slowly peeks up to the desk, but the zombie appeared in front of her.
She shrieks and Riley grabbed her waist, (Y/N) opened the drawer and she took out the scissor, and stabbed at it's head.
The body flopped down in front of them, and they quickly stepped back from the body. "Holy crap, I almost died." (Y/N) pants quietly.

Maria threw the bomb at the cure-room, and she walked away, she blinks when the bomb explodes.

Everything was bombed even the window broke, and the two gasped in fear. One of them crawled in the window, and (Y/N) kicked the zombie onto its stomach. And they heard a gunshot, and the blood splattered their faces.
The body flopped down revealing Chris. The door kicked open revealing a black-haired woman, and a man.
Nadia shot the zombie again, and (Y/N) helps Riley up. "Riley, (Y/N)." Chris greeted, "Chris?" Riley questions tilting his head.
"You two all right?" (Y/N) nodded weakly, and Riley gave a thumbs up.
......
They were outside of the building, the sirens are wailing and the helicopter whirring.
Riley's head was on her shoulder, and (Y/N) wrapped the large coat around his shoulder, and she squeezed his hand on her lap.
"It's been a while you two." Chris greets the two again, "You should be wearing a clean-suit or at least a mask." Riley greets sarcastic tone, "And your muscles are getting bigger man." (Y/N) jokes, "That's why women are getting addicted by your biceps are getting big as hell."
Chris chuckles at her jokes, "Yeah well, how you two doing?"
"Were' fine for now, but Riley shouldn't be in the quarantine? He almost got infected." She was worried about Riley's health. Chris sighed and knelt down in front of them, "Look, if the that virus was really that contagious, we'd all be dead already."
"Besides, quarantine takes too long, and I need you two now." Chris finished, "So don't worry you two, we'll get you to a hot shower, and everything will be okay."
(Y/N) shook her head with a smile, "Same old Chris." Chris nodded with a smile.
