"Hey.. Wake up!"

"C'mon woman, I don't got all day! Get up!"

Orange woke up to a stinging sensation in her left cheek, looking up to see the pilot, looking quite impatient with her. "God you're up finally. Get your shit and buzz off!" The pilot hissed bitterly. Orange scrambled to her feet, as the seat belts were already taken off. Orange quickly grabbed her bag, and scrambled out of the pod. The pod doors instantly slammed shut, as soon as they did, however, the pod detached itself, and was gone.

"So much for a welcoming morning.." Orange muttered. She scanned the Storage room, quietly exploring the place with her gaze.

"Hello! You must be a newbie, right?" Spoke an overly cheerful voice. Orange looked over to see a crewmate with a heart floating above their head. "The name is Pink! You?" Orange never would've guessed the crewmates name had to be Pink. Oh wait. It was obvious, their spacesuit color. "..Orange." Orange replied hesitantly.

"Lovely name!"

"Thanks?"

"Do ya wanna tour?"

"Uh.. That's kinda what I need, so yeah."
Orange replied, but what she wasn't expecting was Pink grabbing her wrist, and tugging her along. Orange couldn't make out most of what Pink was showing her, but she guessed it was the typical rooms of the ship. "And finally, this is the cafeteria!" Pink waved her hands dramatically, like a child would when they first show something to their parents.

"Uh.. Wow. Looks like every other cafeteria I've been in." Orange grumbled. She turned to leave when Pink grabbed her arm, tugging her back. "Come onn!" Pink complained, "Stay!" Pink was practically begging, staring at Orange with puppy eyes. "..Please?"

"For the love of the omnis.. Fine." Orange growled in a bitter tone, feeling like she'd regret it instantly. Pink began to cheer, but suddenly paused. "I forgot to mention one thing, Orange.." Pink muttered, looking sick with worry. "..Don't EVER wander off alone, okay?"

Pink looked dangerously worried, which made Orange a bit spooked. But, she didn't question it, and merely followed Pink to the navigational room.

The rest of the day was an utter drag, since all Pink wanted to do was talk about everything.. And, from what Orange could get, EVERYTHING. One minute Pink would be talking about some random crewmate by the name of Red, the next she'd go on about how boring and creepy Grey was. Orange didn't care at the slightest. She simply wanted to get away, and find her room.

After finally catching a moment where Pink was looking away, Orange snuck out. It wasn't easy, but she managed to do so, despite hearing Pink's panicked cries. Orange wandered the corridors, walking slowly to take in her surroundings. She sighed. Why was Pink so worried about wandering alone? Noth--

Before Orange could finish her thought, she felt something firm grab her shoulder, pinning her to the wall.

"Well this, is unexpected.. Did you not take the warning seriously, crewmate..? Or do I need to drill it in for you..?"

Orange froze. The voice was deep, glitched out and overall intimidating. She barely managed to look up at whoever it was pinning her down to the wall. They were quite tall, and awfully muscular. A giant orange cone lay on their head, tilting to the right a bit. A rectangular visor remained narrowed at Orange, expecting a response. Their color? Black.

"Speak." They barked in a commanding tone, swiftly lifting a knife up towards Orange's neck. "Or do I need to force the words out?"

Writers Note:

I'm so sorry this took so long, augh!! I lost my laptop for quite a while, and couldn't find it until a few weeks ago, and just never had the motivation to finish Chapter 2 until today! (Well tonight, it's 12:17 as I'm writing this) but nonetheless, I promise, once I find my motivation again, I'll start pushing out chapters.
