Meet again - Jinjoo

Minju walks down the road with her bag hanging on her shoulder. She's finally going home after her day full of classes.

Her eyes once again captured the same tree from that place. The tree that holds a lot of memory. The place where she first saw her childhood friend. It's been 13 years, but of course she still remembers her.

How could she forget.

Instead of going home, Minju decided to stay for awhile in their usual spot. She leans on that tree as she takes a rest from her tiring day. Her mind thought of their memories again. This place that holds many precious memories.

She somehow wonders if the latter remembers her too. If her childhood friend is doing well abroad.

When will you come back, Yujin-ah?

Is she still shorter than me? Probably.

Is her dimples still there? I hope it's still there. Though she'll probably still be cute even though it's gone because her eye smile alone can make you smile.

Does she still like ice cream? I would love to treat her again.

Was she bullied there? I hope she wasn't. I couldn't be there to protect her so she has to be brave. I hope Yujin finally got the courage to stand for herself.

Yujin would always say that it was her fault then after that she would also say "I'm too scared.. so I let it pass. It's okay, I'm okay unnie!" Even though she was hurt physically, emotionally and was crying. Whenever Minju would see her being like that, she would wipe her tears away and say that she was okay with a smile.

But Minju knows she's not. So she would tell Yujin that it'll be fine and that she's always there for her. Minju's hugs that comforted Yujin all the time.

With Minju, Yujin really felt safe.

Minju was always there to protect her.

One time Minju got sick. A fever so she was absent from school. Nevertheless, she sneaked out because she felt better.

There she saw Yujin leaning on the tree while hugging her knees again and she was sobbing. It was like the first time she saw her.

Why is she crying? What happened..

"Yuding?"

"Ah!" The little girl who was crying finally realized who it was who called her. From her sad eyes that turned into sparkly ones.

"Eonnieee!!" Minju almost fell down because of how Yujin ran towards her and hugged her really right.

"A-are you okay? Your cousin told me you're absent because you're sick!!" And Yujin pouted after saying all that. She still has tears in her eyes.

She's really a crybaby. Minju giggled before sitting down.

"Yudings, I'm already okay! Well I think I still have a slight fever. But I sneaked out to see you!! Did they hurt you today?" Minju asked, pertaining to those girls that kept on messing with Yujin. She observed Yujin from head to toe to see if the girl had any wounds because those little brats might've pushed her to the ground again.

They were about to tell the teacher and their parents but decided to give them another chance.

The younger immediately shook her head. "No! I think they were scared of you unnie! You're the best! Also.. why did you sneak out?! Your eomma and appa will get mad!" Minju giggled again with Yujin's cuteness. She can't help but to pinch her soft cheeks.
