Cindy's Pov
My room is perfect. There are two vintage guitars fastened to the walls (signed), a brand new Canon 5d, blue drapes (my favorite color), brown carpet, a mahogany bed with white sheets and a soft white duvet, and double doors that lead to a breathtaking view of the ocean. Now I know what you're thinking this is gorgeous, and I could be happy here.
But I keep getting an unsettling feeling. Everything is too perfect like they have everything waiting, like we are a missing piece in a jigsaw puzzle. Anyway, I have other things on my mind. Can I let you in on my little secret? We are close to the path my parents died.
The truth is, I don't believe my parents died because of an accident. And when I heard of this place.Which is a kind of orphanage I volunteered us so I can investigate the path of Rocker's Lane. Is it odd that someone built a town for individuals who just adopted orphans? Guardians in this town did not have their children which strikes me as strange. At least that's what I read on the internet.
But that's not my concern. The truth is my hometown Tewton, is over 30 km away from their town. So what were my parents doing on Rocker's Lane at night? My father had a regular driver, but that particular day the driver was different.
They said the driver's body wasn't found which makes me believe there was a survivor. But the first thing I want to do is get out of the house and walk around. The first thing my father taught me is to get a lay of the land. Your surroundings are more honest than people. he would say. So I grabbed the backpack and climbed out. I'm ready to explore Caster.
