Hmh. Wait. I thought when realized where I was. "Where am I?" I said. "Oh." I said realizing I was in Kevin's room. "Good morning." Kevin said while waking up. "Oh, Good morning kev!" I said smiling at him. "So uh, are you hungry?" He said. "A little bit!" I said smiling. "Uh okay, I'll go make some eggs or something." He said while just standing there. "Are you okay?" I said standing up. "Uh, it's just that, I kinda need to change." He said laughing nervously. "Oh! My apologies!" I said while stepping outside of the room. Kevin got ready and got out of the room and headed to what I think was his parents kitchen. he lead me to the dining area. "Okay so, what would you like to eat?" Kevin said grabbing some items. "Hmh, Do you have any berries?" I said while smiling. "Yes we have all sorts of berries, Which ones would you like?" He said opening the e cabinet to all the jars of berries. "Strawberries!" I said happily. "Here you go." Kevin said handing me the strawberries. "Thank you very much!" I said. "Oh, Hey jack." Kevin said waving to his brother. "Hi kev. Streber." He said. "Are you okay?" I said looking at Jack. He didn't respond. He grabbed some water and left. "Is jack okay?" I said looking back at Kevin. "I'm not sure." He said putting up the items he grabbed. "I'm gonna go speak to him stay here." Kevin told me. Kevin went and looked for Jack. a few minutes passed and Kevin came back. "What happened?" I said after I was done eating. "Jack just had something going on." Kevin said. "Oh." I said. "Hey do you want to go somewhere?" Kevin said standing in the door frame. "Absolutely. Where would you like to go?" I said smiling. "Uh maybe the forest or we can go pick up Rad and go hangout somewhere." he said. "Alright!" I said while getting up. "But first you need to do that spell thing again because uh, your fangs and stuff." Kevin said pointing at me. "Oh, right!" I said while running back up to Kevins room to grab the book. I did the spell and headed down stairs. "Alright! Where do you wanna go?" I said smiling at Kevin "I heard there's a new movie playing at the theater. Wanna head over there?" Kevin said. "Of course! What kind of movie is it?" I said as we where walking out the castle. "I think it's a horror movie." He said tilting his head.  "That sounds wonderful!" I said while we where walking over to Radfords store to pick him up. "Hey Rad." Kevin said as we walked in the store. "Hey Kev! Hi Streber!" Radford said while waving. "We where thinking since you're about to get off work if you wanted to come watch a movie with us." Kevin said. "I'd love to! Let me just get my stuff!" Radford said while running to the back to grab some stuff. "Okay I got my stuff come on!!" Radford said running back to the front of the store. "Come on let's go!" I said pulling Kevin's arm leaving the store.

Few minutes later

Streber POV:

"Alright we're here." Kevin said as we walked up to the theater. "Ok what do y'all two want for snacks?" Kevin said as we walked over to the food counter. "Just some popcorn and a slushy." Radford said. "Yeah same." I said smiling. "Alright." Kevin payed and we got our food. "Alright come on!" Radford said as we headed to the showing. "What movie is this by the way?" Radford said as we sat down. "I uh think it's Nightmare on Elm street?" Kevin said. "Oh okay." Radford said giving Kevin a thumbs up. After the movie we all left and went to the forest. "That was terrifying!" Radford said. "It wasn't that bad." I said while laughing. "Not that bad?! Did you even see the beginning?! The whole movie was just euh.." Radford said looking disgusted. "Yeah it was kinda gorey." Kevin said nodding to Radfords ramble. "Hmh." I said. "Anyways, Today was fun." I said smiling. "Yeah it was pretty fun we should hang out again soon." Radford said. "Well it's getting dark I should head home soon. Cya guys later!" Radford said grabbing his stuff and leaving. "We should go already." Kevin said. "Okay." We got our stuff and headed back.

Few minutes later

"We're back!" Kevin said as we walked through the door to the palace. "Hey Jack." Kevin said as Jack came from his room. "Jack are you okay?" Kevin asked. "It looks like you've been crying! What happened!?" Kevin said. "Mother.. is gone Kevin. She's gone." Jack said as he started to tear up. "W-What?.." Kevin said as it looked like his whole world came crashing down. "She was killed we don't know by who though.." Jack said. Kevin started to sob. I hugged Kevin knowing that the hug wouldn't do anything. Jack started hugging Kevin too. "The funeral is in a few days." I heard as Kevin's father came out of one of the rooms.

Few hours later

Strebers POV:

Kevin was laying on his bed curled up into a ball, I sat at the end of his bed trying to comfort him. I don't know what to tell him, I never went through this so I don't know how to comfort him in this circumstance. "I'm so sorry Kev." I said. "It's.. okay you couldn't stop it.." Kevin said. "Hey we could do something tomorrow to get your mind off it?" I offered. "Yeah that would be nice." He said sitting up. "Alright, anything you want we'll do tomorrow. Now get some sleep." I said smiling. "Alright, Good night dude." He said. "Good night." I said.

(they did not sleep in the same bed streber slept on the floor btw)

Strebers POV:

I woke up as the sun filled up Kevin's room with light, "Hmh.." I groaned as I got up and got ready. I headed down stairs too make some food. I heard someone come down and it was Jack. "Oh, Hey Streber." Jack said. "Hi Jack!" I said smiling. "What are you making?" He said pointing at the stove. "Just some eggs and bacon, here have some!" I said handing Jack a plate. "Thanks." He said. "These taste really good!" He said after eating a little bit. "Thanks man!" I said. "No problem!" He said as he walked off. "What was that about?" Kevin said as he walked into the kitchen. "Oh, Good morning Kev!" I said as I finished the 2nd batch of eggs and bacon. "Here you go!" I said handing Kevin a plate of eggs and bacon. "Oh, Thanks man." He said smiling. "No problem happy to help!" I said smiling. "Woah dude these taste really good." He said grinning. "Thanks! Jack said the same thing!" I said smiling. "Alright when you're done eating where do you wanna go?" I said putting all the things I used up. "Hmh, We should go to the little antique shop I saw." He said finishing up. "Alright!" I said smiling. After we finished eating Kevin got ready and we headed out. "The antique shop is over here come on!" Kevin said. I'm glad he's smiling. "Alright, what do you wanna look at?" I said as we entered the antique shop. "There's little accessories I like buying and I think you'd like one of them!" Kevin said leading me to the accessories. "There's some silver jewelry that I thought you'd like!" Kevin said smiling. "These are so pretty!" I said as I picked out a spider ring. "They have little spider web earrings to match that ring and they have some bat rings too look!" Kevin said handing me some jewelry. "And there's some really cool furniture here." Kevin said. "I really like the jewelry, which ones do you want?" I said grinning at Kevin. "I really like this moon necklace it has a matching sun necklace too." He said grabbing these 2 really pretty necklaces there was a moon and a sun one both were so beautiful! "How much are they?" I said "I think like 370." Kevin said slightly frowning. "Hey why are you upset?" I said. I grabbed the necklaces and payed for them. "Here you go!" I said handing Kevin the moon necklace as. "Oh, Thanks dude!" He said putting on the necklace. "No problem!!" I said grinning as I put on the sun necklace. "These are so cool!" I said. "I know! I love little things like these." He said. "Hey wanna go get some slushees?" I said as we left the antique shop. "Of course!" He said smiling. "Alright!" I said as we walked to a little cafe. As we sat down and waited we where just talking about some things like movies, our favorite music, if Kevin should get a cat stuff like that. "Sorry for the wait! What would y'all like!" The waitress said. "I'll get a blue raspberry slushy." Kevin said. "And I'll get the cherry slushy thank you!" I said. "Alright, better not see y'all with purple tongues after!" The waitress said giggling while she walked back to the kitchen. What does that mean? I saw Kevin turn really red after she said that. "Hey Kevin are you alright?" I said worried. "Uh- Ha- Yeah i'm good! 100%! No need to worry about me!" He said laughing nervously. "Hmh, alright." I said. After a few minutes passed we got our slushees. "Okay but in all seriousness what is you favorite music artist?" Kevin asked "Hmh.. I would say October country, and Mcr!" I said. "Alright next question favorite movie?" "Easy, Scream!" I said smiling. "Alright, Favorite video game?" "Fallout!" I said. "Alright." Kevin said smiling. "Ok, let's go it's starting to get dark out." Kevin said. "Alright!" I said. We left and walked back. "Hey uh thanks for today by the way." Kevin said. "Hmh? Oh, Yeah no problem!" I said smiling. "I know you did it to get my mind off.. my mom. And I really appreciate that man." He said. "Just glad you had a good day." I said smiling at him. I wrapped my arm around him since he started to tear up. "It's gonna be okay. I'm here.." I said.
