chapter 6

Month went by and my final year at school become nearer.

Today after school, I take this chance and went to library to finish my project. I call my father to tell him that I will be late.

At 6.50pm, I finish my work and start pack my belonging. I look at my phone to call my father again and tell him that I will be back soon. But when I call no one answering it. I tried multiple times but still the same, he is not answering.

I feel something going wrong, father never didn't pick up my phone. I run hard towards home but upon arrival,I heard someone said about fire and when I look which house in fire and I feel helpless when it is my house. But I didn't care, I rush towards the fire and run inside. Everybody scream as they said don't. I call my father multiple time and rushing to search for him.

"Por!!" I look at his body lying on the kitchen. When I came near and want to wake him up,I feel blood in my hand. I shout his name yet he didn't respond. My breath become short as the fire become more aggressive. I tried to look a way out and want to drag my father. But the fire is all around us. I fell like crying but suddenly a fireman came and want to pull me out

"Nong,let's go" a fireman pull me

"No,my father"I refuse

"It's okay. My partner will take care your father" I look at his partner as he rushing towards my father and I go outside with this fireman.

"Why my father didn't come out yet." I ask the fireman as I want to walk inside back

"Nong, calm down. My other partner need to come inside and bring a stretcher" he block me. A few minute later my father come out with 3 more fireman beside him. I run towards them.

"Nong,calm down. Let medical doing their job." He block me again. I feeling like crying as I see my house/restaurant destroyed and to see my father body helpless.

"There is vital. But it in dangerous phase. Let's move to the hospital now" the medical said as they put my father inside ambulance.
