Abigail remained frozen as she turned to face him. What a surprise! How long has it been? Two or Three years? The last time she saw him was before River's graduation when she used some of her connections to give him the letter she wrote to confess, but after that, she never saw him again; except in his socials, his stories, tweets, and posts. Thanks to modern technology, indeed helps us to get connected with someone.

The awkwardness that filled their atmosphere when he appeared was easy to notice, and her friend, Mikha noticed it. She watched how Abi was caught off guard by the familiar voice, how River gulped when Abi turned around to face him, and how Gian's aura changed from playful to scary.

Hay nako!

She said to herself while watching them. "Abi, humihinga ka pa ba?" she tried to break the ice while pushing the tall guy, Gian, away from her way who was confused by the current chaos. 

"Huy, breathe Abi," Mikha said once again then laugh to ease the awkwardness before she tapped her best friend to bring her back to reality.

Of course, who wouldn't freeze after seeing your first love after two years, right? Right, except her, Mikha, who doesn't know who's her first love.

"Ha?" Abi asked which made River laugh, napatitig dito si Abigail as if it was a melody in her ears, as it always has been.

"Kamusta?" he asked once again with the same smile na dinadayo pa ni Abigail sa ibang building para lang masulyapan. Good old days. "Oh, ayos lang! Ikaw ba?" Abigail answered back with a hint of shyness in her voice without minding that his Kuya Gian is there watching her get flushed upon seeing her first love. 

It's an odd view for Gian that's why Mikha is there to annoy him, she's his baby sister after all, how did she grow up so fast? Time flies fast, he thinks. 

"Ayos lang din, akala ko nga di ka mamansin hahaha. It's been two years since we last each other." ani ni River then shift his look to Mikha who was trying to keep calm or maybe teasing Abi's brother. "Wag ka ngang bitter porket wala ka lang ganyan" Mikha even dared to joke at Gian who's currently eye-judging River. Seriousness is evident on his face as if he's ready to punch this new guy for not introducing himself, or maybe he's realizing they're growing up. It's too fast, he thought.

'If looks can kill, rest in peace kay River' 

Mikha whispered to the older guy while watching them flirt, oops scratch that, talk I mean. Maya maya Abigail signal them to come over, so he can introduce River to her brother.

Well, she's dying to know if he knows her Kuya, of course, Gian is an idol, and it's way more impossible for him not to be known by locals.  She started to think how would he react knowing she is Gian's sister on the other hand praying that he doesn't know him, afraid that people might take advantage of her connections. 

Hindi naman siguro ganon si River, she thinks. 

Tapos na sila magbayad and, obviously, Gian take over the bill for her little sister and Mikha, he always do, willing naman daw kasi siya. "Oo nga pala, this is my brother, Gideon, I don't know if you're familiar with him ha? and Kuya, this is River, our senior friend nung SHS kami. " She introduced the two boys to each other, mukhang natakot pa nga ata si River because of her brother's aura kaya siniko ni Abi ang kapatid niya in order not to scare River. 

"Hello po, I'm River De Jesus, nice meeting you po." magalang na sambit ni River to Gian, of course, he initiate, naiilang na kasi siya kung paano siya kainin ng tingin nito.
