I sit in the living room couch while loud music plays and people make out around me
I sigh and go on my phone, I only agreed to go to Kazuha's party because it was her birthday but she says it's because haerin was going to be here which was kinda true but it was mostly because I wanted to celebrate my friend's birthday, and so she could stop bothering me
"Hey y/n, we're going to play seven minutes in heaven, wanna join?" I look up to see kazuha standing infront of me
"Yea sure" I get up and follow her to the basement
I sat beside karina and Kai, my two best friends since middle school
"Alright, we all know how it goes, 2 people stay in the closet for seven minutes and see if anything interesting happens, except we'll being using a bottle to choose, but we need to wait for a few more minutes just in case people wanna play or watch" kazuha explains
I go on my phone waiting for the game to start until I feel a tap on my shoulder
I turn behind me to see Haerin giving me a smile
"I-I of course" I swear and make space for her
"Move asshole" I whisper to Kai
"Fuck off" he answer and he moves and haerin sits beside me
"You wouldn't be the type to go to parties y/n, your always in the library studying or training for your next *favourite sport* game" haerin tells me
"Im only going because kazuha kinda forced me" I laugh
"How about you, why are you here?" I ask curiously
"My friends kinda forced me to come" she answers
I laugh and kazuha finally starts the game
"Alright who wants to go first" kazuha says
"Hmmmm, y/n!" Kazuha hands me the bottle
I give her a "fuck you" look as I take the bottle from her hand
I put it on the ground and give it a spin
I anxiously wait for the bottle to stop spinning and land on someone
And fortunately and unfortunately the bottle lands on my long time crush, Kang haerin
I sit there with a horrified expression on my face
I feel Kai elbow my side
"Good luck" he whispers as Haerin and I stand up and head to the closet
I sigh as I close the door in the closet
It was silent for what felt to be an hour but truly it was only like 3 minutes
"Hey y/n, can I tell you something?" Haerin asks
"Sure, what is it?"
"So uh, for the past few months, I... I-I've had feelin-" she finally says
without any time to think about my actions I immediately pull haerin into a kiss
Haerin kisses me back and deepens the kiss, the kiss was truly something else
As I pull away from the kiss I immediately look away and cover my mouth
"I didn't mean to do that" I tell her
"No no no no no y/n, I've had feelings for you for such a long time" Haerin cups my face and turns my head to look at her.
"I-Ive had feelings for you too" I hug her
Haerin hugs me back and gives me another kiss on the lips
"Okay times up!" We hear kazuha's muffled voice
Haerin quickly pulls away and I open the closet door
"Soooo anything happen??" Chaeyoung asks as haerin and I step out of the closet
"Nah, we just talked" I scratch the back of my neck
"Ugh boringgg" Kai whines as haerin and I sit in our original spots
After 5 more rounds Haerin grabs my wrist and we go somewhere private
"So about the thing that happened" She asks as we enter the bathroom and locks the door behind us
"Yea what?"
"What am I to you now? A friend, acquaintances?" Haerin fidgets with her fingers
"We'll... what do you see me?" I asks
"Uhm, I don't know, I see eachother as friends but I wanna be more with you" Haerin looks at me
"So dating?" I question
"Yea I guess" she shrugs and looks back down
"Then I'll make it official for us!" I clear my throat
"Ahem, Kang haerin, would you be my girlfriend?" I cup her face and grab her hand as she looks up at me
I see a wide gummy smile grow on her face
"Yes! Yes I do!!" She squeals and jumps into my arms and gives me a hug
"I love you so much y/n" she looks at me and gives me a kiss
