You're Not Sorry

As soon as I reached my car I threw myself in and just sat there staring at the steering wheel. Moments later Jacob came out and knocked on my window. With tears streaming down my face I rolled down the window slightly.

"Yes?" I asked, my voice cracking.

"Babe, I'm sorry! I love you! I messed up and it won't happen again! Please Nikki ple....."

"You're sorry? No I'm sorry! I'm sorry I wasn't good enough again. I'm sorry you had to cheat on me with one of my best friends because I wouldn't have sex with you! Two years! I wasted two years of life trying to be good enough for you but now I've realized I'm better with out you. So you're not sorry. And this probably isn't the first time either is it? Just stay away from me!" I growled cutting him off my voice filled with years. I peeled out of the parking lot as fast as I could. My phone rang and I checked the caller ID. 'AllyAllyAlligator' straight to voicemail it is. I continued ignoring all of her and Jacobs calls and texts until I got home. I stumbled up the stairs and dragged myself into Xavier's room.

"Xavier I need your help with something." I stuttered.

"Sissy, what's wrong? Why are you crying? What do you need help with? I"ll do it I promise just tell me what happened." He rushed out developing me in a tight hug.

"Jacob cheated on me with Allison!" I wailed my tears flowing freely now. My brother became rigid and stone cold with pure white hot fury.

"I'll kill him!" He snarled. Have I mentioned Xavier is my extremely over protective older brother who already hated Jacob.

"No. Don't! He's not worth losing you." I said realizing he was completely serious.

"I'll be fine I promise he isn't worth the trouble." I said trying to fake a smile.

"You look so much like Mom when you do that." He said.

"Do what?" I questioned curiously.

"Try to make everyone else happy before yourself. She would be really proud of you ya know. I know it." He whispered in my ear.

"She'd be proud of you too ya know." I replied quitely.

"How bout this. You invite over Bella, Lizzy, and Addie and I will pay for the five of us to order pizza, get ice cream, lots of candy and goodies, and we can watch movies off Netflix. How's that sound?" Xavier said.

"Only if you let us help pay." I replied with a slight smile at my big bro.

"I suppose you can this time Sissy." He sighed.
