Ragini enters Advay's cabin hesitatingly..

Ragini - Uhmm Sir I had a request..

Advay (busy in signing some papers) - Say it..

Ragini forward a document towards him..

Ragini - I wanted your sign on this..

Advay without even looking up..

Advay - What is this ??

Ragini - My resignation letter..

Advay pause in between hearing this..

Ragini looks at him nervously..

After few seconds he resumes his signing..

Advay - You want to quit??

Ragini - Yes Sir..

Advay -  May I know the reason..??

Ragini - Actually Sir it's personal..

Advay - I m sure it's personal.. You wouldn't leave for some professional reasons.. I don't think some other company would be offering you better terms than what you are getting now.. Unless you decide to backstab me and sell out our confidential information but I do know that you are not the type of person to do something like that....

Ragini looks at him in wonder.. Damn sometimes how much he can go on and on..

Advay - So once again Miss gadodia may I know the reason..

He ask her while flipping the pages of file..

Ragini - Actually I m thinking of going back to my family.. They needs me and even I want to be with them..

Advay - So you have decided to suddenly up and leave the company..Just like that..??

Ragini - No Sir.. I will follow all the protocols and will help in whatever way I can..

Advay - And you think that I have free enough time to once again train someone   to be my assistant ??

Ragini - No sir .. Absolutely not.. I won't be that irresponsible.. I have discussed everything with HR manager.. I have served my contract period and I will be going on notice period of 3 months.. In the mean time they will arrange a new assistant for you.. You don't have to worry.. I will personally train her properly before I leave.. You won't have any inconvenience.. Trust me..

At this advay puts the pen on table and leans his elbows on the table and looks at her..

Advay - So Miss Gadodia you really think that someone you train can actually compare to the one whom I have petsonally trained.. ??

Ragini looks down and rolls her eyes..

Gee.. Thanks for the ego boost.. 🙄

Ragini - No sir.. Of course not..

Advay - There was a reason I have hired you Miss Gadodia and invested such time on you.. Now when after years that you have turned into the asset for the company as you are now and you want to leave..So that you can join some other company in future and benefit them..don't you think it's quite unreasonable..??

Ragini nods still looking down..

Damn.. When he say it like that..

It definitely makes her slightly guilty..

But then again it's not like she is doing something unlawful or wrong.. She had followed all the rules applicable to her.. She had worked diligently in her contract period and again in her renewed contract.. She will be serving notice period as well and will help in whatever way she can to to train his new assistant..
