Ch- 5. Secret Garden

"Ok... So tomorrow morning we will start searching the villa ahead" I said firmly

Jane and John replied with nod.

Someone smiled as he watched them from far.. " Let's see how far you all will survive " he said as he laughed hysterically.

[3rd Person POV]

*Clack clack clack* only the sound of footwear could be heard as the three of them were walking with utter silence. While walking suddenly John collapsed, gaining the attention of both the girls.

"Oh my god! What happened John?" Jane asked rushing towards John's collapsed body accompanied by Y/N.

"Hey hey John can you hear us? Can you get up?" Y/N asked as she held his body.

"Hmm" John replied humming as he had no energy to speak a word.

"Oh John, we're so sorry, we didn't even asked you if you were okay or not while you were comforting us all the time..." Y/N said with concerned look.

"Yes John, we are really sorry.." Jane looked down as she sat beside John.

John just smiled while nodding his head when they suddenly heard sound of water coming from behind the wall which they were facing rn. All of them started to look at each other's face as their faces turned pale. The sound was coming from inside the wall as if there was a secret passageway from there..

"Guys did you both heard that sound too?" Y/N asked getting a nod as her her reply.

"Hold on, let me check it.." Y/N said while laying John on Jane's lap.

Y/N took slow and steady steps towards the wall and placed her ear close to the wall. As soon as she placed her hand on the wall it suddenly flew open leading to a garden..?

It wasn't just a simple and lovely garden, it was terrifying like it was a graveyard before. The garden was something looking like a witch's secret place. It had that terrifying arura, all the plants has dried up, neither the plants had flowers nor greenery as if the heart of that place had dried up. But still the sound of water was coming from inside the garden.

"Looks like we'll need to go inside"
Y/N said.

"B-But-" Jane tried to protest but kept quiet as soon as she heard Y/N's reason. "Jane, I know it could be a trap but we have no option right now. If John will get some water maybe he'll freshen up."

"Let's go then." Jane said after a moment of silence.

"Here we go!"

*Entrance of garden*

*CREEEEEAK* the gate opened with a loud sound. They walked inside the garden with caution. As Jane and John's looked around their surroundings, inspecting them carefully. There was no need of Y/N to look around as she had already seen it's overview.

Soon they came across something which looked like a well.

And to their surprise it was indeed a well as it had 'The Wishing Well' written on it on close inspection.

"Wow I didn't know this kind of thing existed!!" Jane exclaimed as her eyes sparkled.

"No Jane wait, don't get too excited. If this villa is haunted then of course the garden will be haunted too so as the well." Y/N said.

"R-Right sorry"

"Wait here let me check if there is water inside the well or not" Y/N said as she went near the well.

As she was walking close towards the well, she started hearing some distorted voices. The closer Y/N was going, the louder the sounds were getting. She tried her best to ignore it and looked inside the well. "There is no water.. *sigh*" she thought but as soon as she started to turn around she saw a horrible image in well.

There was a pile of dead bodies laying inside the well and those dead bodies were calling her name while looking at her. *Y/N Y/N Y/N Y/N Y/N * they were calling her name again and again.

Getting scared Y/N put her hands on her ear and closed her eyes. While doing that she lost her balance and fell...
