"Are you ready?"
"Yes" replied Taehyung, he was all excited yet anxious, afterall it's his wedding day today.
Various thoughts were running through his mind, what if he trips when he walks down the aisle? What if he forgets his vows? What if his Fiancé says 'no' when the priest asks the question?
This day can't be ruined for any reasons, cause afterall it's,
The day he's been planning for so long, the day he's been looking forward for months now, ever since he got on his knees and asked 'Will you marry me?' to the love of his life.
Getting married to the love of his life was something he dreamed of, ever since he was kid, ever since he took a look at his parents' wedding album.
Ever since his innocent question, "what is love momma?" got answered by his mother when he was barely five or six.
Since then, all he hoped was to find true love, someone who he could love like his dad loves his mom.
Hoped to find someone, who he could share his dreams, worries, insecurities, success and failure with.
But he never dreamed to find his loml, on the street, fighting with some thug.
He never expected that he'd fall for the bunny looking male, who was throwing punches left and right, fighting men twice his size effortlessly.
Taehyung was always calm and composed, he spoke less, believed in 'Action speaks louder than words.'
A complete contrast to our bunny fighter, who chose to fight thugs that tried to rob him in the dark streets without second thought.
What he didn't expect, was one of the thugs to have a pocket knife with him, he didn't see that coming, but luckily he escaped with just a small cut in his arm,
Taehyung stepped in before things can get worse, the older male grabbed a handful of sand from the dirty ground and sprinkle it ever so delicately at the thugs eyes,
took ahold of the younger arms and sprinting away from the abandoned place, he didn't know why he did that,
Why did he save someone he barely knows? Why does he feel concerned about doe eyed male? He didn't have answer for any of those questions.
But all he knew was that he felt an unsuppressable desire and drive to save the male, hold him close, away from all the dangers in the world.
Is it the love at first sight that every romance book preaches about?
Fast forward to six years later, taehyung was holding a pair of palms, as clammy as his, he could feel his trembling, heart thudding, mind being on the verge of shutting off.
But one thing kept him sane, the male in his heart.
To say that Taehyung was the happiest man alive when he held the man of his dreams in his arms would be an understatement, he was beaming with happiness,
He was shining brighter than the sun, smiling warmer the summer day.
He peered at the shy timid male in his arms, his eyes oozed love, care, affection, and dedication.
Vows were exchanged with happy tears cascading down both the men's cheeks.
Everyone's eyes was filled with tears seeing their favorite couple tear up,
Then, after an eternity, The priest finally started doing his job,
"Do you, Kim Taehyung, take Jeon Jihyun, as your lawful husband to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and cherish until death do you apart?"
