"Th-The cops ca-came h- Agh! here, thinking that you w-were here b-but you we-weren't so they told u-us to t-tell y- Agh! you.." Tweek said. "B-But they found T-Tish de-dead behind the el-elementary s- Agh! school.."
T-Tish is dead..? I thought to myself. "Tweek t-this isn't fu-funny." I stuttered, trying to comprehend what was going on. "I-I'm sorry Craig.." Tweek whispered. I put my hands on my mouth, not allowing myself to cry. "I-It's a-all my fault," I whispered, tugging at my hair. "No, i- Agh! it's not." Tweek said sternly taking my hands in his. "Y-You couldn't h-have pre- Agh! predicted this. No one c-could."
"But I c-could ha-have stopped t-this!" I yelled. Tweek cupped my cheeks and said, "C-Craig listen to m- Agh! me... As s-soon, as we f-find the ki-killer, we'll g-give him/her/them what he/she/they deserve." My eyes didn't meet his, I didn't want to look at him. "You know what? I-I'll ask my parents if y-you can t- Agh! take the d-day off." Tweek said.
"You don't have-" I started before Tweek picked me up and set me outside. "Go. H-Home." Tweek said. "B-But-" I started to say but Tweek was already gone. "Oh come on!" I walked back to my car and just sat there. I could see Tweek glaring at me, waiting for me to leave.
At my house...
As soon as I got home I just went to my bedroom and threw myself onto my bed. I went to my texts seeing three missed calls and four texts from... Sam..? Why was Sam texting me? Of all people? I didn't feel like responding, but what if it was important? Or is someone's life involved? I couldn't let anyone's life be taken because of me.
S- Just to let you know... Trisha isn't dead, I have her
here, with me.
S- I know you're driving so I'll give you until you get home.
S- Come on, respond.
S- Next is Tweek. Re-spond.
Tweek!? I immediately texted back.
(Me)- Alright! I'm here! What do you need?
S- Come to ****** Avenue at 5:15. And I'll give
you your sister back. Or let Tweek be taken away
as well.
(Me)- Alright, I'll be there.
Just.. don't hurt Tweek or Tish...
I put my phone away and looked at my clock, it was 9:30 AM so I had a few hours before I had to go, so I guess I'd just listen to music or just sit around and do nothing, plus ****** Avenue wasn't that far, just a couple minutes away. Then I heard my door being knocked on. "I'm coming, I'm coming," I said, getting up from my bed. I opened the door to see Tweek. "Tweek?" I asked. "Why are you here?"
"You weren't picking up your phone." Tweek frowned. "I called like fifteen times." I blinked and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't turn off my phone.." Tweek just stared at me and said nothing, we just stared at each other until Tweek broke the silence. "Okay, I-I'm sorry th- Agh! that I s-snapped at y-you." Tweek apologized. "No," I said flatly. "N-No?" Tweek repeated. "What do y- Agh! you mean by 'no'?"
"No, as in-," I said. "Nevermind." Tweek looked at me. "What w-were you gonna say? Agh!" Tweek asked, a hint of concern in his voice. I looked back at him, then I slammed the door in his face. "W-Wha!?" I heard Tweek yell. "C-Craig Tucker! Agh! O-Open this door r-right now!"
I ignored him and returned to my room it was now 10:23 AM. Only a few hours left then he could leave.
My head hurt but I didn't care, why would I? I'm just someone who just loves to hurt people.. then I looked at my clock and it was 4:55 PM, wait, wasn't it just 10:23 a few moments ago I also noticed that my surroundings changed, I was in an ally way. Dumpsters were tripped over, trash was everywhere, rats were running around, and Sam was in front of me. Wait, Sam? Sam wasn't supposed to be here til 5:15 and it was 4:55. "Ah, you're here early." Sam greeted, a huge smile forming on his face. "What a lovely surprise!"
I looked behind him to try and see Trisha but she was nowhere in sight. "Where the fuck is my sister!?" I demanded. "Whoa! Easy there tiger!" Sam exclaimed holding both of his hands up. "I mean no harm, I just want to talk to you."
"Talk about what?" I asked, sweat dripping down my face. "Oh, nothing more than business," Sam answered his dull, dark, forest-green eyes looking down at the floor. "What business?" I pushed. "What business?" Sam repeated. "You know the business to get your annoying sister back, remember? Don't you want her back?"
"I do!" I exclaimed. "Really? Or are you just worried I'm going to get Tweek if you don't cooperate and do what I want?" Sam asked. I started to get angry, what the hell did he mean by 'I only care about Tweek and not my sister'?
"Of course, I care about Tish." I retorted. "Why do you think I came?"
"Tisk, tisk. This isn't good. Listen, transfer 300 dollars, cash, and I'll think about letting your sister go. Deal?" Sam said. "Deal!" I said. "Alright, you have one week," Sam said slowly. One week?! I thought to myself. And I don't get paid until next Friday!
Two days later...
So far I've saved up $299 from my savings account, not as hard as I thought. I only had $2,097 left in my account alone. For the next could minutes I was wondering if I should pull out just a dollar, I mean it'd only be a dollar short. I pulled out the one dollar and sent the 300 on its way.
Suddenly, my head started to hurt, I made my way quickly to my room before I passed out, and that wouldn't be good. As soon as I was in my room, I pulled out a pill bottle and took like four of them, and sat on the bed. I don't even know what the pills I took even were, but they were making me more tired than I already was. Maybe a little nap wouldn't be so bad...
I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
