"what happened??"
"my birthday is tomorrow!!" you exclaim with excitement, leaping up and down energetically.
"really? how old are you turning? i'll get you a super special gift!!" he raises his arms with you while sporting a smile filled with enthusiasm.
"i'm turning....eight!" the number '8' is illustrated with your fingers.
as you both make your way back home, hand in hand, a grin spreads across your faces as you giggle about random topics.
the following day, seishiro arrives with a gift wrapped box.
"nagi!" you embrace him by wrapping your arms around his neck, and he received a hug that was tightly held. he felt his face heat up a little, revealing his bashfulness. "is this my present?"
"i picked it especially for you, y/n! i hope you like it!" he beamed at you with a radiant smile.
you swiftly unwrap the gift he bestowed upon you, discarding the packaging and ribbon, and carefully pick up the white object in the box, raising it towards your eyes for a clearer view.
"..what is this?" your head tilts in curiosity as you ask the boy.
"it's an 'igloo figurine!" he smiles at you.
you didn't have much curiosity about those sorts of things, but the only thing that made you happy was that it came from him.
"thank you, nagi!"
you spent the remainder of the day in the company of seishiro, exchanging laughs and smiles as the minutes ticked by. your mother gazed at your expressions of joy with admiration.
when seishiro first laid his eyes on you, he fell head over heels in love with you instantly. it can be described as "love at first sight."
however, it is evident that he was aware that his affection towards you would undoubtedly strengthen as time passed by.
