It's been many years since I first became a spoiled boy's loyal servant. I'm the butler of the earl Phantomhive. Our journey together has been hectic, to say the least, but my Master has kept me on my toes. I'm an ancient creature and in my thousands of years of life, I have never been so entertained, happy, and invested with everything around me. I would have never known that his boy would add so much.

Today is his 21st birthday, and it has been 11 years since I arrived. He doesn't appreciate big fancy parties despite his status -completely avoids them when he can; I must avoid making a commotion for his birthday. This will prove difficult since Lady Elizabeth tends to make a fuss out of everything.

I tenderly mix the pancake mixture as I think of a possible way to keep her away for the day. In recent years, my Lord has been awfully busy, so she's more desperate to take over the little free time he has. She's more spry than usual since their wedding was postponed and was never rescheduled. Well, I could break the wheel to her carriage so she can't arrive, or I could just turn her away at the door.

The pancakes are finished and are cooked to perfection. I leave and make my way to wake my Lord. I quietly open the door and shut it behind me. The room is clean and the sun is shining gently through the curtains. I open them and the window, letting the refreshing morning air in. My Master sits up and groans as he groggily awakens.

"Good morning, Master. The time is 9:30, it looks like it will be mostly sunny today." I say as I prepare his morning earl gray.

"What's on the agenda?" He questions in a deep, raspy voice while swinging his legs over the side of his bed.

"Nothing sir" I say and I put the teapot in its place.

"Huh, that's odd, what's today?" He asks, taking a sip of his tea.

"The fourteenth: your birthday, sir." I respond reluctantly.

"Oh, when is Elizabeth arriving?" He asked, his voice clearing up after a couple sips into his tea.

"Most likely this afternoon, sir" I responded. He rubbed his forehead in frustration and took a sharp breath.

"I wish she just would leave me alone." He complains with a sigh.

"I know my Lord, but she's still your fiance". I lay out his clothes neatly.

"For breakfast is pancakes, bacon, and eggs" I explain as I exit the room.

I set the table when I get to the dining room, and soon the other servants make their way to the dining room. Finally, my Lord enters and I serve him. Afterwards, all of us separate. My Master goes to his study, Finn to the garden, Bart to the kitchen, Mayrin to the laundry room, and I go around the manner cleaning and tidying every room.
